Tuesday, 14 October 2025—President University held a seminar titled “Roblox in President University” at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, 5th floor of Building A, President University Main Campus, Jababeka City, Cikarang. The session featured a representative from Roblox, Adam Seldow, Senior Director of Education Policy & Partnerships. His visit this time was done together with Tami Bhaumik, Vice President of Civility & Partnerships, and. Their visit to President University took place from 13 to 15 October 2025.
In his opening remarks, Handa Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., Rector of President University, expressed his strong support for Roblox as a learning platform. He shared that President University has integrated Roblox into several courses to enhance interactive learning. “We are not the first university to have a Roblox map,” he said, “but this university is the only one whose rector supports Roblox very much—the most Roblox university in the world.”
During the seminar, Adam Seldow explained that Roblox allows users to create immersive 3D environments that enhance experiential learning. “In Roblox, you can create a 3D environment to learn more about real-world situations. You are doing all of these things by immersing yourself to make decisions and learn at the same time,” he said. He also emphasized that what makes Roblox unique from other gaming platforms is its thriving community of players and creators.
Meanwhile, Tami Bhaumik encouraged students to take an active role in shaping the digital community. “We need all of you to create a platform that you want to see—less toxicity, more positivity—so people can express their creativity and intelligence safely,” she said.
