A Gateway to Global Engagement as President University Prepares Future Leaders
September 11, 2025

The Ambassador Series at President University continues to be a significant initiative in broadening students’ global perspectives. With the recent visit of H.E. Tomas Ferko, Ambassador of Slovakia, the series once again demonstrated its role in fostering cross-cultural dialogue and international awareness. Rector Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., highlighted the importance of such engagements in preparing students for the complexities of global diplomacy and international cooperation.

Unlike conventional lectures, the Ambassador Series provides direct interactions with global leaders, allowing students to gain firsthand insights into international relations. The discussion with Ambassador Ferko explored not only Slovakia-Indonesia relations but also broader themes such as European diplomacy, economic strategies, and cross-border educational collaborations. This approach helps students see the real-world impact of global policies.

Through similar initiatives, President University reflects its commitment as a leading institution in international education that fosters an environment where students are encouraged to engage in meaningful discussions about global challenges. (Rachel V, PR Team, Photo: Graciella V)
