President University Student Housing (PUSH) is beyond dormitory. It is an environment that supports students from all over the world to grow academically, socially, and personally. Overview

President University Student Housing (PUSH) provides a structured and supportive living environment for students. It combines accommodation with programs that strengthen academic progress, leadership skills, and social development. PUSH consists of several residential sites, including SBH (Student Boarding House) and NBH (New Beverly Hills).

NBH offers both single and shared rooms, while SBH provides shared rooms only. Each sharing room accommodates a maximum of two residents, which supports both privacy and interaction. The environment encourages daily engagement among students from different cultural and academic backgrounds.

Residential Sites and Room Options

  • SBH (Student Boarding House) provides shared rooms only. Each room accommodates up to two students, which encourages interaction, teamwork, and shared responsibility in daily living.
  • NBH (New Beverly Hills) provides both single rooms and shared rooms. Single rooms support privacy and independent living, while shared rooms accommodate up to two students and encourage social interaction. This variety allows students to choose based on their preferences and needs.


Programs and Activities

a. Dormitory Curriculum

The Dormitory Curriculum is a core program that runs continuously across Semester 1, Semester 2, and Semester 3. It focuses on practical skill development and prepares students for both academic and professional environments. Through social projects, students gain experience in teamwork and community engagement. Leadership activities help students build confidence, decision-making skills, and responsibility. Networking trains students to build meaningful connections that support their future careers. In addition, resume development and LinkedIn updates guide students in presenting their experiences and achievements in a professional way. This program ensures students not only learn academically but also develop essential life and career skills.

b. Community and Engagement

Bonding Night (Makrab) serves as a bonding program that brings residents together through shared activities. It helps students build friendships, improve communication, and create a sense of belonging within the dormitory environment.

c. Cultural and Religious Activities

Interfaith prayer during Ramadan provides a space for students to practice respect and tolerance across different religions. The Chinese New Year celebration introduces cultural values and traditions, which helps students understand and appreciate diversity in a practical way. In addition, other cultural and religious activities are accommodated in PUSH.

d. Environmental Program

The Go Green program encourages students to take part in environmental activities such as planting, waste management, and daily eco-friendly practices. These activities build awareness and responsibility toward sustainability.

PUSH Cup is a sports competition that encourages physical activity, teamwork, and discipline. It also strengthens relationships among residents through healthy competition.

PUSH uses the PUIS system as a platform for communication, feedback, and evaluation. Regular social and recreational activities are organized to maintain active student participation.

Facilities

PUSH provides facilities that support daily student needs and comfort. These include sports courts for basketball and volleyball, a prayer room, gazebo, drinking water stations, canteen, parking area, Wi-Fi access, electricity token system, 24-hour security, PUIS communication system, and Popbox for package storage. These facilities support both daily living and student activities.
