Before being appointed Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Research, and Innovation at President University, Dr. Adhi Setyo Santoso, S.T., M.BA., has been a member of the Presuniv academic staff since 2016 and has served in several leadership roles within the university, including Director of Setsail BizAccel (the university’s business incubator) and Director of the President Research Center.

An active scholar in digital business and innovation, Dr. Adhi’s research focuses on platform strategy, open innovation, and entrepreneurship in multi-sided digital platforms; his recent publications examine effectuation, open innovation processes, and strategic alliances for digital startups. He teaches across the Business Administration undergraduate program and the Master of Technology Management programs, bringing his research into courses on innovation management, digital business, and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Adhi holds a Doctoral degree from Universitas Indonesia, an M.B.A. from KAIST, and a Sarjana Teknik (S.T.) from Institut Teknologi Bandung. His appointment as Vice-Rector was announced by President University in 2024, where colleagues and the campus community have recognized his vision for strengthening the university’s research, innovation, and industry-linked teaching.

Before being appointed Vice-Rector for Resources at President University, Prof. Dr. Retnowati, S.Th., M.Si. served as a senior member of the President University academic staff and has played an active role in the university’s teaching and academic community. She was formally conferred the title of full professor by President University in mid-2024.

An active scholar in the fields of entrepreneurship and management, Prof. Retnowati teaches courses such as entrepreneurship, corporate entrepreneurship, human capital, and business ethics. Her teaching connects theory with practice, supporting student innovation and ethical leadership across the Business Administration program.

Prof. Retnowati holds a doctorate from Universitas Indonesia, a M.Si. from Universitas Gadjah Mada, and a S.Th. from Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana. Her promotion to professorship and subsequent appointment as Vice-Rector for Resources reflect her academic achievements and leadership within the PresUniv community.

Before serving as Rector of President University for the 2022–2024 period, Prof. Dr. Ir. Chairy, S.E., M.M. was a long-standing member of the President University faculty and a senior leader within the campus community, recognized for his administrative leadership and commitment to developing industry-connected teaching and research.

An active scholar in marketing and management, Prof. Chairy’s research focuses on consumer behavior, branding, retailing, and green marketing; his work also examines topics such as green consumption, hospitality and tourism marketing, and customer brand engagement. He regularly teaches marketing and management courses within the Faculty of Business, and his research has appeared in national and international journals and conference outlets.

Prof. Chairy holds a doctoral degree in Management from Universitas Indonesia and carries professional training that combines engineering and business credentials (the honorific “Ir.” indicating an engineering background, alongside his S.E. and M.M. degrees). His extensive publication record and active involvement in research networks reflect his ongoing contribution to marketing scholarship and to strengthening President University’s academic profile.

Before being appointed International Chancellor of President University, Prof. Ki-Chan Kim served as a senior faculty member in management at the Catholic University of Korea and held several leadership roles there, including dean of the Business School and vice president. His formal introduction as President University’s International Chancellor took place in February 2023.

Prof. Kim is an active scholar and global voice on entrepreneurship and humane, people-centered business practices. His work covers topics such as humane entrepreneurship, platform strategy, modularization and inter-firm relationships, and he has advised government bodies and major companies in Korea. He also chairs and holds leadership roles in international organizations focused on small business and entrepreneurship, amplifying his influence beyond academia.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji serves as the Executive Chairman of President University Foundation. He is an academic and bureaucrat who has served as Governor of Lemhanas RI from 2011 to 2016. In addition, he has also been a Professor of Civil Engineering in Geotechnics at the University of Indonesia since 1998. Budi Susilo is also known as a lover of art and culture, especially wayang kulit and music. He has initiated several wayang kulit performances and formed the band Professor Band with several professors at the University of Indonesia. In his educational and governmental career, he has served as Head of the Soil Mechanics Laboratory, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Director of the Technology Institute of the University of Indonesia, Assistant Dean, and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Indonesia from 2000 to 2004.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Chairy, S.E., M.M. serves as the Secretary of the President University Foundation. He has a multidisciplinary academic background, earning an Ir. in Civil Engineering from Institut Sains dan Teknologi Nasional, as well as an S.E., M.M., and Doctorate in Marketing from the University of Indonesia. He was appointed as Professor through the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Chairy also participated in the Global Faculty Visitor Program at the Kauffman Foundation, Kansas City, USA. In his academic leadership career, he previously served as the Rector of President University and has contributed significantly to academic development and strategic management within the university and the foundation.
