PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Communication Science program adopts a unique approach to journalism—the study focuses on broadcast journalism rather than print journalism. With our affiliation with the organization, we were able to develop our curriculum based on the standards of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) and in accordance with their curriculum template. Our unique curriculum and our courses being delivered in English shall provide students with an edge over communication science graduates from other universities.

M. Raudy Gathmyr, S.Sos., M.Si.
An active member of the highly regarded academic association in media and communication – International Association of Media and Communication Research (IAMCR), M. Raudy Gathmyr attended conferences on a regular basis and conducted research papers both nationally and internationally in the area of specializations which are revolving around on the intersection between Communications and politics cum International relations. His current research topic – applying Critical Discourse Analysis and framing as primary methods – centres on how Indonesian mainstream media conduct news construction of Islamic religious groups since Indonesian reform era up to the present time.
