PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Actuarial science is a discipline that studies how to assess risk in insurance, finance, and other related industries using Mathematics and Statistics. Actuarial science at President University also teaches students how to perform data analytics using advanced data analytic tools such as Python and R to solve business problems in Insurance, finance, and other related industries. Students will be fully supported to pass the Actuarial Professional Exam by offering a non-credit training course such as A10-Financial Mathematics, A20-Statistics and Probability, A50-Statistical Methods, A60-Actuarial Mathematics, and A70-Modeling and Risk Theory.

HEAD OF STUDY PROGRAM

Dr. Dadang Amir Hamzah, S.Si., M.Si.

Dr. Dadang's research interests lie in the numerical analysis of Partial Differential Equations (PDE). He is currently working on the Splitting Method for PDE, focusing on stability, consistency, and convergence analysis, as well as its application in solving PDEs. His teaching expertise encompasses mathematical analysis and statistics, including Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, Engineering Mathematics, Real Analysis, and Numerical Analysis.
