Teuku Rezasyah received an undergraduate degree in International Relations from Universitas Padjadjaran, continued with a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand and a doctorate study at the Department of Politics at Murdoch University in Western Australia, and later on continued with a doctorate degree from the College of Law, Government and International Studies, at the Northern Malaysia University.

Teuku Rezasyah conducted a Post-Doctoral Study at the University of Delaware in the USA under a Fulbright Scholarship, a diplomatic training at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) under the ASEAN-China Scholarship, and a special course at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. He also participated in Indonesian public diplomacy programs to India, Srilanka, and PRC. As a permanent lecturer at Universitas Padjadjaran State University, he is currently being assigned by the Commission I of the National Parliament to deal with strategic issues affecting Indonesia, and by the government of Indonesia to become part of the country’s Eminent Expert/Person for the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF). His opinion on IR can be traced at the Indonesian electronic and printed media, Voice of America (VoA) and CNN from the USA, and SBS Radio from Australia.
