Natasya Kusumawardani is a researcher and lecturer at President University. She teaches classes on Human Rights and Gender, Environmental Issues in International Relations and Principles of International Law. In 2018, she was named the Best Female lecturer in the International Relations study program. Natasya studied at Universitas Padjajaran (UNPAD) majoring in International Relations and received YKPP Pertamina Scholarship for her bachelor’s degree. Supported by the New Zealand-ASEAN Scholarship, she pursued a master’s degree in international relations and human rights from the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Natasya has published her research in the AEGIS Journal of International Relations and has presented her work at the New Zealand Political Studies Association’s international conference. In 2018, she led a volunteer project in collaboration with the Sandya Institute, a local NGO, to enlist students to volunteer to help refugees. Her annual project, together with students, NGOs and government, is about supporting people with disabilities in Jabodetabek, Indonesia.
