Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

may peace be upon us all.

Shalom, Om swastiastu, namo buddhaya, greetings of virtue.

Greetings healthy, greeting Indonesia forward, full of enthusiasm.

Dear Graduates, on various occasions, I have always said that innovation, adaptation, and collaboration are key strategies in reviving the tourism sector and creative economy in Indonesia. This is also a response to the rapidly changing global dynamics, becoming increasingly complex and dynamic.

On this auspicious occasion, firstly, I would like to congratulate and be successful in holding the 16th graduation of President University, which was held virtually with the theme “Enhancing Young Professionals’ Resilience in Addressing Challenges during the Global Pandemic.” For me, this is an important message.

The government hopes that the tourism sector and the creative economy can drive national economic recovery. To achieve this, the government, stakeholders, and the community are fighting together to control the spread of Covid-19. It is hoped that the success of this control will have a positive impact on increasing world confidence in Indonesia.

I believe, if we manage to control the pandemic, with the level of active community participation through vaccination programs and compliance in implementing health protocols, tourism and the creative economy will be present as a solution for the nation's economic revival.

Therefore, to the entire academic community and all graduates of President University, I urge you always to innovate, adapt and collaborate so that you can become winners in this challenging era.

For graduates who will enter the world of work, the tourism industry and the creative economy are very strategic sectors. This is a crucial economic sector and is expected to open up the most expansive possible employment opportunities, new and quality jobs.

In addition, the tourism and creative economy sectors are candradimuka craters that will print and deliver all graduates to become entrepreneurs. Moreover, do not forget that now is the moment to take that opportunity. Do not hesitate to advance this industry because many developed countries now rely on tourism and creative economies. They make this sector as the core of the country's economy, as a pillar of its economy.

Let us be agents of change together. Do not be a fallen generation. Let us be disciplined, apply health protocols and follow vaccination programs so that the tourism sector and the creative economy will quickly bounce back and the Indonesian economy will grow rapidly again.

Once again, congratulations and success to the graduates of President University. Your work in advancing the tourism sector and the creative economy will always be awaited.

Thank you.

Wabilahi taufik wal hidayah, wassalammualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
