International Relations Study Program Student Discuss the Impact of Lobster Seeds Exports

Controversy over the export of lobster seeds has become a polemic in the community. This encourages students of International Relations Study Program, President University (PresUniv), to hold a webinar entitled "Dampak Ekspor Benih Lobster bagi Laut Indonesia Menurut Greenpeace Indonesia", Friday (15/01). This webinar invited environmental activists as speakers. They are Talida Salma from Ocean Defender Indonesia and Afdillah, Ocean Campaigner at Greenpeace Indonesia.

PSTE Study Program Create First Graduates

Monday (12/01), Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PSTE), which is a new study program at President University (PresUniv), succeeded in producing its first graduate, namely Purnama Dewi (batch 2017). Purnama passed with a thesis entitled "The Impact of Synchronous Online Learning on Students Attainment in Maths". Her thesis supervisor is Disa Evawani Lestari, a PSTE lecturer. Adjusting to the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire advising process to the thesis defense were held online.

Perina Amelia Wins Cerpen Kejar Mimpi Bekasi Competition

Management study program student, President University (PresUniv), Perina Amelia (batch 2019), won first place in Cerpen Kejar Mimpi Bekasi Competition with the theme "Adaptasi di Tengah Pandemi”. Perina get a high assessment from judges with her short story entitled Recik Virus yang Ditabur Semesta. “At first I wasn't sure I could win, because 15% of the votes came from likes. In fact, my short stories that uploaded on the Kejar Mimpi application did not get a lot of likes, ”said Perina, who writes short stories to fill her time.

Electrical Engineering Study Program Students Learn Careers Since Semester 1

International Relations study program student, President University (PresUniv), Rey Abraham (batch 2018) brought home champion title from two national-level speech competitions. Both are the English Department Student Association (EDSA) Speech Competition organized by Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kudus (IAIN Kudus), Central Java, and the Rising and Shining Speech Competition held by the Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Language, Sriwijaya University, Palembang.

Charles Lim Shares Stories on Founding IDexpress Indonesia

The digital era makes e-commerce business grow rapidly. This was stated by Charles Lim, Alumnus of the Business Administration (BA) study program, President University (PresUniv), who became Founder and CEO of IDexpress Indonesia. Charles shared his experiences through Tagar Tv Youtube channel, Thursday (31/12). He explained that logistics is a major obstacle in e-commerce business. This obstacle then turned into an opportunity. Equipped with knowledge during PresUniv's lectures, such as Principles of Management and Supply Chain Management, as well as experience working at one of the largest logistics companies in Indonesia, Charles then decided to build his own logistics company, IDexpress Indonesia.
