ICC, President Univ, Discussing Personal Statement with Leeds Beckett University

Wednesday (18/8), the Internship and Career Center (ICC) Bureau, President University (PresUniv), in collaboration with the Leeds Beckett University and the British Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia, held a webinar entitled “Personal Statement 101: The Do's, The Don'ts, and The How's with Leeds Beckett University”. This webinar discussed the importance of a personal statement to continue postgraduate studies (S2). A personal statement is an attachment that contains a person's statement about their personality, skills, achievements, and reasons why they want to apply for a scholarship or to the destination university. The speaker presented in this webinar was Agung Adi Nugraha, Regional Officer South East Asia, Leeds Beckett University.

Thursday (19/8), the Internship and Career Center (ICC) Bureau, President University (PresUniv), held a webinar entitled "LinkedIn for Personal Branding and Networking", in collaboration with Kinobi. Kinobi is a platform that helps its users find a job, prepare before applying, or switch a job. This webinar was delivered by Benjamin Wong, Co-Founder & CEO of Kinobi, as a speaker. Through this webinar, PresUniv wanted to help their students maximize LinkedIn's use to make it easier for them to get the job they want in the future.

Tuesday (24/8), SetSail BizAccel President University (PresUniv) and Bhinneka.Com launched a collaboration program themed #ChampsNeverQuit. This collaboration aims to build a special Campus Marketplace for students and the academic community at PresUniv. This program is also based on the entrepreneurial spirit that is starting to increase among young people, especially students.

Preparing Three Career Paths for President University New Students Batch of 2021

Monday (23/8), President University (PresUniv) welcomed 1,944 new students from the class of 2021 through the Pre University event entitled "We Prepare Your Career from Day 1." This event will last for three days (23-25 ??August 2021). On this occasion, Handa S. Abidin, SH, LL.M., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Academics and Student Affairs, explained PresUniv's new curriculum, namely the 2020 Curriculum. Handa said the curriculum was prepared based on input from stakeholders and aspirations. After graduating, students want a career in three paths: entrepreneurs, professional executives, or academics/researchers.

Prof Chairy Inaugurated as Professor at President University

Saturday (21/8), President University (PresUniv) inaugurated Prof. Dr. Chairy as a professor in Management Science. Chairy is the 2nd professor inaugurated by PresUniv. Previously on April 26, 2019, PresUniv inaugurated Prof. Dr. Jony Oktavian Haryanto as the first professor. Prof. Jony now serves as Rector of PresUniv. In his speech, Prof. Jony, who also led the open senate meeting at the inauguration, said, “I am proud because today President University has again inaugurated a professor. Hopefully, the inauguration of Prof. Chairy inspires other President University lecturers to become professors soon.”

To respond to this, Siberkreasi, a national digital literacy movement, held a webinar entitled "What Are the Benefits of Socmed for You?", Wednesday (18/8). This webinar presents two lecturers of President University (PresUniv) as speakers, namely Kunthi Afrilinda Kusumawardani, BA., MBA., lecturer of the Business Administration Study Program, and Haris Herdiansyah, S.Psi., M.Si., lecturer of the Communication Study Program. Other speakers were Vivi Andriyani, marketing communication and promotion specialist, Boyke N., ST, M.Kom, from the 4ID Education Cooperation Division, and Lady Kjaernett, a digital creator.
