What's happening in PresUniv
President University (PresUniv) held an international seminar on community service, which was held in a hybrid, Monday (20/12) to Thursday (23/12). Some participants and speakers attended offline, while others attended online. This seminar is part of the Community Service (PKM) program. In this PKM activity, PresUniv collaborated with PT Jababeka & Co., a subsidiary of the Jababeka Group, and Fablab, an institution engaged in HR training and Industry 4.0-based business development.

Tuesday (21/12), the Internship Career Center (ICC) of President University (PresUniv) held a Virtual Career Hiring with Cinepolis. For those who don't know, Cinepolis is a company from Mexico, which is engaged in cinema and has been present in nineteen countries in the world. The event was also attended by Rio Prambudi, HR Talent Acquisition & Culture Assistant Manager.

This event also coincides with positive internet usage training for the community of Karangraharja Village. The signing ceremony and the training were attended by Head of the Karangraharja Village H. Suhendra AR, Ronny Juwono S.Pd, MT, Head of the Information Systems Study Program, PresUniv, Dr. Cutifa Safitri, Abdul Ghofir, M. Kom., Rosalina, M. Kom. and Genta Sahuri, M. Kom, lecturers of PresUniv.

This year, the number of publications by President University (PresUniv) lecturers in Scopus indexed journals for the Q1 and Q2 categories have increased compared to the previous year. In 2020, the number of publications in Scopus indexed journals in the Q1 category was 9 publications and the Q2 category was 10 publications. Meanwhile, for 2021, the number of publications in Scopus indexed journals in the Q1 category will be 14 publications and the Q2 category will be 15 publications. Thursday (4/10), Dr. Retnowati, Director of the Research Institute & Community Service (RICS), PresUniv, said she was delighted with this achievement. She said, “This achievement is an extraordinary achievement from PresUniv lecturers. We should be proud and continue to be supported in the future.”

There are several things to consider in making a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). First, MVP requires a lot of cost and time for startup companies. Typically, if the startup process takes a year to complete, it would take six to eight months to create the MVP and its strategy. Second, the lack of time to perfect the product. Apart from time, startups also have limited resources.

Tuesday (14/12), Dr. Eng. Ir. Rudi Suhradi Rahmat, M.Eng., a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, President University (PresUniv), was a speaker at the Sakura Science Exchange Program 2021. This program was organized by PresUniv in collaboration with the Japan Science and Technology Foundation. There are two activities for the program, namely an online workshop and symposium on December 13-16, 2021.

Saturday (18/12), the Bureau of Internship & Career Center (ICC), President University (PresUniv), held an internship briefing for students to do internships in the next semester, January-April 2022. This internship briefing is also one of the agendas of the Career Bootcamp which organized by ICC with the support of the Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PKKM) from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. More than 100 students participated in this event. For the event, ICC presented Munaji, People Lead of MSC Indonesia from PT Mondelez Indonesia Manufacturing.
