Two Lecturers of President Univ Qualify Research Funding Decentralization Program

Two lecturers of President University (PresUniv) successfully received research funding from the Decentralization Program, Friday (6/5). The two lecturers are Andi Ina Yustina, M.Sc., a lecturer in the Accounting Study Program, and Dr. Ir. Yunita Ismail Masjud, M.Sc., a lecturer in Environmental Engineering Study Program. Andi Ina submitted a proposal entitled How Far are We Committed to Going for Green Accounting? Carbon Disclosure in The Context of Political Connection and Environmental Legitimacy Pressure in Indonesia, while Yunita's proposal is entitled Studi Pemanfaatan Ampas Kopi menjadi Briket dan Biodiesel sebagai Sumber Energi Terbarukan (Studi Kasus di Cikarang, Jawa Barat).

ICC Holds Pre-Internship with Qwork

Friday, (3/6),the Internship & Career Center (ICC), President University (PresUniv), held a virtual Pre-Internship Program. This program aims to inform students about the regulations to be followed and internship opportunities. ICC introduced Dhana Segaran, Head of Qwork Sector Leader. Qwork is a company from Malaysia that provides services in the field of human resource development fro companies and talents in the gig economy.

ICFBE 2022: Women and Entrepreneurship

Data collected from 51 countries shows a decline in entrepreneurial activity during the pandemic. This affects women more than men. One reason is because of the increased responsibility. This is the findings of Dr. Andrea North-Samardzic, Director of the Women's Entrepreneurship Research Alliance from Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia, as presented at the 2022 International Conference on Family Business and Entrepreneurship (ICFBE), Thursday (2/6), in Denpasar, Bali. According to North-Samardzic, women are more easily affected, but have a greater opportunity to develop and train resilience as long as they can see it as a challenge and an opportunity. "You have to be optimistic, because optimism is one of the keys to resilience," she stressed.

ICFBE 2022: The Covid-19 pandemic will soon be over

The Faculty of Business, President University (PresUniv), again hosted the International Conference on Family Business and Entrepreneurship (ICFBE), an event that brings together academics with business and government practitioners. This is the 6th time that the Faculty of Business, PresUniv, has hosted the  ICFBE, which has been an annual event since 2017. For the 6th ICFBE, the Faculty of Business, PresUniv, was collaborating with Triatma Mulya University, Badung Regency, Bali. Suresh Kumar, the Project Manager of ICFBE 2022, reported, “That in June 2022 there are 115 international conferences being held in Bali. In the midst of so many international conferences, ICFBE 2022 managed to attract a total of   134 papers. This is certainly encouraging.”

Today, the Faculty of Business, President University (PresUniv), again held the annual International Conference on Family Business & Entrepreneurship (ICFBE) at The Patra Bali Resort and Villa, Bali. This 6th ICFBE raised the theme of Back in Business to bring together academics, business people, and the government to provide solutions to the problems that are being and will be experienced by family business enterprises and entrepreneurs in the retail business, wealth management, hospitality and tourism business, and digital business both small, medium and large scale businesses.
