President University (PresUniv) held a Summer Staycation event with 49 high school students from inside and outside Greater Jakarta. They are prospective new students of PresUniv batch 2022. The purpose of this event is to introduce PresUniv and its facilities to the prospective students. This event took place offline at Jababeka Golf & Country Club Cikarang, Saturday (25/6).
Continue ReadingMechanical Engineering Study Program students, at President University (PresUniv), introduced an electric car called EGO (Electric GoKart), Monday (27/6). This EGO was developed by the PresUniv Mechanical Engineering Study Program Project team, which consists of two students, namely Marwan Nabildan class of 2019 and M. Fachri Maulana class of 2018. They are guided by lecturers of Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Nanang Ali Sutisna, M.Eng, and Dr.-Eng. Lydia Angraini, as the Head of Mechanical Engineering Study Program.

These activities can play an essential role in building and expanding their networks. One of these activities is the Sport Olympiad President University (SOPU) 2022, this is the biggest annual sporting event held at PresUniv. The entire PresUniv academic community, including lecturers and staff, participated in this years event. SOPU 2022 was held from the  3rd June to 12th July 2022.

PM 2.5 is an air particle smaller than 2.5 microns (micrometers). In order to discuss PM 2.5, Biru Voice held a roadshow entitled Bersuara untuk Udara Bersih to President University (PresUniv), Tuesday (21/6). This event was presented by two speakers, namely Novita Natalia K, Community Manager at Bicara Udara and Prabu Setyaji, Data Analyst at Nafas. The online roadshow was hosted by Yogi Saputra Mahmud, S.Pd., M.TESOL, a lecturer in the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, PresUniv.
Continue ReadingA Carbon credit represents a one ton C02 equivalent reduction in Carbon emissions, the credit is issued once the reduction is verified and this can be traded on the carbon market. Currently, carbon credit are treated as a commodity. This credit can be produced from nature-based activities (eg reforestation) and technology based activities (eg carbon capture). The financing of these carbon credits enables carbon projects to become commercial projects. This was stated by Pandu Patria Sjahrir, Co-founder and President Commissioner of CarbonX, in a webinar entitled Potensi Karbon Kredit Indonesia untuk Dunia, Tuesday (21/6). This webinar was organized by President University (PresUniv) and hosted by Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs at PresUniv.

A total of 10 content creators attended and shared experiences, Saturday (18/6). They were Arfiana Maulina, Deris Nagara, Calista Fahira, Angelyna Victoria, Achintya Nilsen, Khalisha Cantara, Zhafira Aqyla, Tatjana Syafira, Zahid Ibrahim, and Olivina Maskan.

This visit was a follow-up meeting after Monday (6/6) signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). During this visit, various potential collaborations in various fields between PresUniv and ATMI were discussed, especially those related to the Tri Dharma of higher education. Several potential collaborations were discussed, including cooperation in the field of research, the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program, and accreditation assistance.

The webinar was delivered by Rizka Laksmi, Head of Communications at PT SAP Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. In this webinar, Rizka Laksmi conveyed the true facts about corporate communications which differ from the general perception of corporate communication, which is thought to be very glamorous with lots of parties and lots of connections.
