Communication Study Program, President University (PresUniv), held an online lecture together with Sputnik, Friday (8/7). Sputnik is a Russian-owned global news agency and radio service. The online lecture carries the theme “How International Media Cope with Digital Age”, and presented the speaker Oleg Dmitriev, advisor at Rossiya Segodnya and Professor at The School of Media, Higher School of Economics (HSE) University, Russia.

Saturday (2/7), President University Major Association (PUMA) Electrical Engineering held a webinar entitled Career Preparation. This webinar aimed to provide guidance on the preparations needed to be make the transition to the world of work. In addition to providing resources , the webinar also provided training on how to improve your personal branding on LinkedIn. This webinar was presented by two speakers, namely Junar Asunyi, HR content creator, and Kharisma Anindya Kumala, HR practitioner. This webinar was opened by Drs. Antonius Suhartomo, M.Eng.Sc., Ph.D., Head of Electrical Engineering Study Program, President University (PresUniv).

The Building Universities in Leading Disaster Resilience (BUiLD) Consortium again held an offline meeting, on 27th – 29th June 2022, at the University of Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, for the previous two years meetings were always held online. This meeting was chaired by Nadine Sulkowski from the University of Gloucestershire, as the project lead, and attended by Rendika Nugraha S.T., MBA, a lecturer at President University (PresUniv) and representatives from other universities, namely Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Universitas Surabaya, and the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. Meanwhile, several representatives from universities also participated in a hybrid way from the Universitas Islam Indonesia, Yogyakarta, acting as the host.

The Consortium of Indonesia Higher Education Leaders (iHiLead) held a hybrid workshop titled Pilot of Staff Training Workshop for Leadership Management Development Program (LMDP), from the 11 th-15th July 2022 at the Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII), Yogyakarta. This workshop is one of a series of activities carried out by iHiLead, a consortium consisting of seven Indonesian universities and three universities from the European Union. The Indonesian member universities are President University (PresUniv), Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Brawijaya, STIE Malangkucecwara, Universitas Negeri Semarang, dan Universitas Padjajaran. Meanwhile, the three foreign universities are the University of Gloucestershire from the United Kingdom, the International School for Business and Social Studies (ISBSS) from Slovenia, and the University of Granada from Spain.

These tests help to reveal three key aspects of the child, namely the personality profile, intellectual potential, and interests of the child. PPC is a psychological and consulting service unit under the President University Foundation (YPUP). PPC has a team of professional consultants and psychologists who are competent and certified.

Shabil Syach Pachlefi, a student of the International Relations Study Program, President University (PresUniv) batch 2020, managed place first in the Duta Bahasa Jawa Barat (Jabar) 2022 regional competition, Tuesday (21/6). The theme for selecting the Duta Bahasa Jabar this year was the potential of Indonesian to become the second language in ASEAN. The selection process for Duta Bahasa Jabar was held from April 12 to June 21, 2022. One of the competition requirements was the creation of works or products to improve language using technology.

The webinar presented Dr. Hifni Alifahmi, M.Sc., IAPR, an observer of corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, and branding. Fahmi, as he is called, discussed The Four Pillars of Integrated Marketing Communications in The Digital Era.

Thursday (23/6), RCTI held a Campus Special Hunt in the context of the Miss Indonesia 2022 audition at President University (PresUniv). The winner of Miss Indonesia will be the official representative of Indonesia in the Miss World contest. To become Miss Indonesia, participants must have a MISS personality, namely Manner, Impressive, Smart, and Social. For this reason, the participants must have the character of beauty with a purpose, namely someone who has beauty, special abilities, and makes a positive contribution to the lives of the surrounding community.
