Wednesday (25/11) from morning to noon, the President Development Center (PDC), President University, held a webinar on the topic of Customs & Tax Procedures. This webinar is the result of a collaboration between PDC and the Cikarang Customs Office. JB Susetiyo, Communication Director of President University in his opening remark said, "This webinar is the first part of a number of partnership plans that will be carried out by PDC with the Customs Office, Cikarang. In the future, there will be a number of activities ranging from guest lectures, training, customs clinics, and so on."
Deny Isworo, Head of the Cikarang Customs Office, stated that this webinar aims to provide information to the public about customs and tax. In addition, Deny revealed, "The government, including the Ministry of Finance and its staff, want to help the business players in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. For that reason, the government has prepared various facilities and supports, including customs and excise facilities."
There are two sub-topics which are discussed in detail in the webinar. The first session was about the Process and Procedure on Importing Goods. The second session discussed the Identification and Classification of Imported Goods: Methods of Calculating Import Duty and Taxes in the Context of Import (PDRI).
The webinar was attended by more than 150 participants. They come from the education and business practitioners. The webinar ended with a question and answer session between the speaker and the participants. (JBS/SL)
PDC Gelar Webinar Bersama Kantor Bea Cukai Cikarang
Rabu (25/11) pagi hingga siang, President Development Center (PDC), President University, menggelar webinar bertopik Prosedur Kepabenan & Cukai. Webinar ini merupakan hasil kolaborasi antara PDC dengan kantor Bea Cukai Cikarang. Kata JB Susetiyo, Direktur Komunikasi President University dalam sambutan pembukanya, “Webinar ini adalah bagian awal dari sejumlah rencana kerja sama yang akan dilakukan oleh PDC dengan kantor Bea Cukai, Cikarang. Ke depan akan ada sejumlah kegiatan mulai dari kuliah tamu, pelatihan, klinik kepabeanan dan lain sebagainya.”
Deny Isworo, Kepala Kantor Bea Cukai Cikarang, menyatakan bahwa webinar ini bertujuan memberikan infomasi kepada publik tentang kepabeanan dan cukai. Selain itu, Deny mengungkapkan, “Pemerintah, termasuk Kementeriab Keuangan dan jajarannya, ingin membantu dunia usaha dalam menghadapi pandemi Covid-19. Untuk itu pemerintah sudah menyiapkan berbagai fasilitas dan dukungan, termasuk fasilitas kepabeanan dan cukai.”
Ada dua sub topik yang dibahas secara detail dalam dua sesi webinar. Sesi pertama tentang Proses dan Prosedur tentang Impor Barang. Sesi kedua membahas Identifikasi dan Klasifikasi Barang Impor: Metode Penghitungan Bea Masuk dan Pajak Dalam Rangka Impor (PDRI).
Webinar pagi ini dihadiri oleh lebih dari 150 peserta. Mereka datang dari kalangan pendidikan dan dunia usaha. Webinar diakhiri dengan tanya jawab antara pembicara dengan peserta. (JBS)
