SetSail BizAccel, the business incubator of President University, held a Business Modeling Competition. The event held for a week, 8-13 November 2020, aimed to help student startups find investors. Attending this online competition is Director of SetSail BizAccel, Dr. Adhi Setyo Santoso, M.BA., and caregiver of this program, Rendika Nugraha, M.BA., along with several investors. 

During that week, 35 participants, each with 15 minutes, were given the opportunity to present their business models as creatively as possible to attract investors. They are Djalan Coffee (pioneered by Aurel Khaled Ibrahim, Syfa Aulya, and Rendi Zikri Mulyadi, three students from Business Administration Study Program, batch 2018). Djalan Coffee has a unique business concept, which prioritizes environmental sustainability and a healthy lifestyle. This is achieved by producing vegan coffee powder, using plant-based packaging, and donating 7% of its natural conservation income. There is also Jajaen, a toast business managed by Made Ramadita (Management student batch 2018) and Kadek Widiari (Business Administration student batch 2018), which has been operating for the last 2 years. Jajaen provides various variants of quality toast at affordable prices. Until now, Jajaen already has 2 outlets and will open a third outlet in Kuta, Bali. 

The next startup business is Sizzl, a bath bomb business founded by Business Administration students batch 2018, namely Devira, Hanika, Aghla, and Reynaldi. According to Aghla, bath bombs can be used to relax the body and mind during the pandemic. This Sizzl product is made from environmentally friendly materials and is available in 12 variants with shapes and aromas matches the zodiac.

Setsail BizAcell Gelar Business Modeling Competition

 

SetSail BizAccel, inkubator bisnis President University, menggelar Business Modeling Competition. Ajang yang digelar selama sepekan, 8-13 November 2020, bertujuan membantu usaha rintisan mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan investor. Hadir dalam kompetisi online ini Direktur SetSail BizAccel, Dr. Adhi Setyo Santoso, MBA, dan pengasuh program ini, Rendika Nugraha, MBA, beserta sejumlah investor.

Selama sepekan tersebut 35 peserta, masing-masing 15 menit, diberi kesempatan untuk mempresentasikan bisnis modelnya sekreatif mungkin untuk menarik minat investor. Mereka, di antaranya, Djalan Coffee (dirintis oleh Aurel Khaled Ibrahim, Syfa Aulya, dan Rendi Zikri Mulyadi, tiga mahasiswa program studi Administrasi Bisnis batch 2018). Djalan Coffee memiliki konsep bisnis yang unik, yakni memprioritaskan kelestarian lingkungan dan pola hidup sehat. Ini diwujudkan dengan memproduksi bubuk kopi vegan, menggunakan kemasan dari bahan nabati, serta menyumbangkan 7% dari pendapatannya untuk pelestarian alam.

Ada pula Jajaen, usaha roti bakar yang dikelola oleh Made Ramadita (mahasiswa Manajemen batch 2018) dan Kadek Widiari (mahasiswa Bisnis Administrasi batch 2018) yang sudah beroperasi selama 2 tahun terakhir. Jajaen menyediakan berbagai varian roti bakar berkualitas dengan harga terjangkau. Sampai saat ini, Jajaen sudah memiliki 2 gerai dan akan membuka gerai ke-3 di Kuta, Bali.

Bisnis rintisan berikutnya adalah Sizzl, usaha bath bomb yang didirikan oleh mahasiswa Bisnis Administrasi batch 2018, yaitu Devira, Hanika, Aghla, dan Reynaldi. Menurut Aghla, bath bomb dapat digunakan untuk relaksasi tubuh dan pikiran dalam masa pandemi. Produk Sizzl ini terbuat dari bahan ramah lingkungan dan tersedia dalam 12 varian dengan bentuk dan aroma sesuai zodiak.
