The ability to see opportunities and dare to embrace every opportunity are two things required to build a business. Just as important, client trust and support from the right parties are also needed in maintaining the quality of the services and products offered. This was mentioned by Feri Febrianto, a student of the Electrical Engineering study program at President University and the owner of PT. Ooki Surya Robot Indonesia (Ooki Robot). The company which was officially established on 17 January 2020, is engaged in robotic and electrical system maintenance services.
The initial idea that became the foundation of the establishment of Ooki Robot emerged from Feri who was often contacted by customers at his workplace to discuss the problem of robots, ask for advice, and consultations about robots. Therefore, an idea was created to make a business engaged in robotics.
"The industry will develop and companies will begin to shift into the era of automation. Many companies have used robot technology but do not yet have technicians or maintenance teams who understand the robot," Feri said. "We are here to make a significant commercial contribution to client success through the robot and electrical services," he added.
Although it is a local robot company, with a system and framework oriented to Japanese standards, Feri believes that Ooki Robot can compete with other robot companies. "We do work with good after-sales service as we always follow up the work before the project starts, during implementation, and after the project is finished. We will monitor every process. The employment report uses Indonesian and Japanese. We do provide the best quality and competitive prices," Feri explained.
As he is not alone, Feri was also guided by Setsail BizAccel, President University's business incubator. Guidance in communication strategies aimed at attracting prospective customers, economic management, and company management is given to Feri as a form of President University's support to students in establishing and developing their businesses. Kemampuan dalam melihat peluang dan berani mengambil setiap kesempatan adalah dua hal yang perlu dimiliki dalam membangun sebuah usaha. Tidak kalah penting, kepercayaan klien dan dukungan dari pihak-pihak yang tepat juga dibutuhkan dalam mempertahankan kualitas jasa maupun produk yang ditawarkan.
Hal tersebut diungkapkan oleh Feri Febrianto, mahasiswa Teknik Elektro President University sekaligus pemilik PT. Ooki Surya Robot Indonesia (Ooki Robot). Perusahaan yang secara resmi berdiri pada 17 Januari 2020 tersebut bergerak di bidang jasa maintenance robot dan electrical system.
Ide awal yang menjadi fondasi berdirinya Ooki Robot muncul dari Feri yang seringkali dihubungi oleh customer-customer di tempat kerjanya pada saat itu untuk membahas masalah robot, meminta saran, dan konsultasi tentang robot. Oleh karena itu, terciptalah ide bagi Feri untuk membuat usaha yang bergerak dibidang robotik.
”Dunia industri akan berkembang dan perusahaan pun akan mulai beralih ke era automation. Banyak perusahaan telah menggunakan teknologi robot tetapi belum memiliki teknisi atau tim maintenance yang mengerti tentang robot,” ujar Feri. “Kami hadir untuk memberi kontribusi komersial yang signifikan bagi keberhasilan klien melalui jasa service robot dan electrical,” imbuhnya.
Meskipun termasuk dalam perusahaan robot lokal, dengan sistem dan kerangka kerja yang berkiblat ke standar Jepang, Feri yakin bahwa Ooki Robot dapat bersaing dengan kompetitor-kompetitor perusahaan robot yang lainnya.
“Kami melakukan pekerjaan dengan after sales yang baik karena kami selalu follow up pekerjaan sebelum proyek dimulai, saat pelaksanaan, dan setelah proyek selesai akan selalu kami monitoring. Laporan pekerjaan menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia dan Jepang dan tentunya kami memberikan kualitas terbaik dan harga yang kompetitif,” jelas Feri.
Tidak berjuang sendiri, Feri dibimbing oleh Setsail BizAccel, inkubator bisnis President University. Bimbingan dalam strategi komunikasi yang bertujuan untuk menarik calon customer, pengelolaan ekonomi, dan management perusahaan diberikan pada Feri sebagai bentuk dukungan President University kepada mahasiswa dalam mendirikan dan mengembangkan usahanya.
