President University is taking the extra mile to ensure that its graduating students are prepared and ready to work for the industry. Last Saturday, 27 July 2019, 120 students from the Faculty of Computing and Faculty of Business underwent a full - day training and assessment in various certification such as Computer Operator, Graphic Design, Web Developer, Networking and Programming. This certification program was collaboration between the faculties, Internship and Career Center President University and Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi (LSP) Komputer. The certificates given are recognized by the country's governing certification body, Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP), and are valid in applying for both national and international job vacancies.
As noted by the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Dr. Maria Jacinta Arquisola, "Promoting certified-ready graduates is an important priority of President University because it supports the national government's human capital development agenda for 2019." In the future, President University will offer more certifications for students and graduates. It is hoped that all graduates will have the right skills and competencies to land on their dream jobs.
President University terus berusaha untuk memastikan lulusannya siap untuk bekerja. Pada hari Sabtu, 27 Juli 2019, 120 mahasiswa yang berasal dari Fakultas Komputer dan Fakultas Bisnis menjalani training dan penilaian untuk bermacam sertifikasi seperti Computer Operator, Graphic Design, Web Developer, Networking and Programming. Program sertifikasi ini merupakan hasil kolaborasi fakultas, Pusat Karir dan Magang President University dan Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi (LSP) Komputer. Sertifikat yang diberikan diterima oleh Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP) dan sah digunakan untuk melamar pekerjaan baik di dalam dan luar negeri.
“Mempromosikan lulusan tersertifikasi merupakan prioritas President University karena program ini mendukung agenda pemerintah dalam mengembangkan tenaga kerja di tahun 2019,” ungkap Dr. Maria Jacinta Arquisola, Dekan Fakultas Bisnis. Ke depan, President University akan menawarkan lebih banyak sertifikasi untuk mahasiswa dan alumni. Diharapkan semua lulusan memiliki kemampuan dan kompetensi untuk meraih pekerjaan impian mereka.
