Tuesday (15/1), President University received a visit from Dr. Totok Prasetyo, B.Eng., M.T (Director of Institutional Development of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education) in a sharing session held at the Conference Room, President University, Kota Jababeka, Cikarang. In the event, Totok Prasetyo shared steps on how to build a good quality higher education institution.
According to Totok, there are three main points to increase the quality of a higher education institution. The first is leadership, a leader should have good criteria such as IQ and EQ intelligence, innovative, normative, strong, and have aspiration.
The second is the commitment of all parties to progress and develop. A university achievement cannot be separated from the role of all parties in achieving it, therefore it requires a high commitment from all parties. The third is a well-integrated system that can facilitate data storage and easy access.
The event is a further step to improve quality after successfully obtaining an "Accredited A" status. Also attending the event, Rector of President University, Dr. Jony O. Haryanto, along with all Heads of Study Programs and Heads of Bureau. Furthermore, the event closed with the handover of token of appreciation and a group photo.
Selasa (15/1), President University menerima kunjungan Dr. Totok Prasetyo, B.Eng., M.T, (Direktur Pembinaan Kelembagaan Perguruan Tinggi Kemenristekdikti) dalam sebuah sharing session yang diselenggarakan di Ruang Conference, President University, Kota Jababeka, Cikarang. Dalam acara tersebut Totok Prasetyo membagikan langkah-langkah mengenai cara untuk membangun perguruan tinggi yang baik.
Menurut Totok, terdapat tiga poin utama untuk membangung perguruan tinggi yang baik. Pertama ialah Kepemimpinan, seorang pemimpin haruslah mempunyai kriteria yang baik diantaranya mempunyai kecerdasan IQ dan EQ, inovatif, normatif, tangguh, dan aspiratif.
Yang kedua adalah komitmen dari semua pihak untuk maju dan berkembang. Sebuah prestasi universitas tidaklah lepas dari peran seluruh pihak dalam mencapainya, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan komitmen yang tinggi dari semua pihak untuk berprestasi. Yang ketiga adalah sistem yang terintegrasi dengan baik yang dapat memudahkan penyimpanan dan akses data.
Acara tersebut merupakan langkah lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan kualitas setelah berhasil mendapatkan status “Terakreditasi A”. Turut hadir dalam acara, Rektor President University, Dr. Jony O. Haryanto, beserta seluruh Ketua Program Studi dan Kepala Biro. Selanjutnya, acara ditutup dengan penyerahan token apresiasi dan foto bersama.
