Wednesday, October 17, 2018, the Industrial Engineering Study Program held an Engineering Jobs and Future Potential seminar: Requirement Capability at Charles Himawan Auditorium, President University campus, Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara, Cikarang, Bekasi. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Bagus Mahawan, Director & Founder of PT Invosa Systems, a company engaged in industrial automation services based on Information Technology (IT) applications. More than 100 students attended the event.
Continue ReadingThursday, 4 October 2018, President University welcomed 18 delegates from Assumption Samutprakarn School Bangkok, Thailand in a cultural trip event themed “Tak Kenal maka Tak Sayang” that was held in Charles Himawan Auditorium, President University. Organized by the Center of Language and Culture (CLC), they exchange the culture from each country through traditional dance performance and interactive games.
Continue ReadingPresident University participated in helping to ease the burden of those who are affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Palu and Donggala through 8 students who volunteered for 7 days. Led by Hoppi Yoon, lecturer of International Relations, and M. Shihab, lecturer of Communication, a team of volunteers departed from Jakarta on Wednesday (10/10). The volunteer team also brought logistics and donations that had been collected from the contributions of all President University academics.

The event was attended by Yahya Cholil Staquf (Katib Aam Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama), Dr. A.S Hikam (Former Minister of Research and Technology and lecturer of President University), and approximately 200 students and lecturers.

The event was attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla, Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, Yohana Yembise, Afghanistan Ambassador to Indonesia, Roya Rahmani, Chief Executive of Afghanistan, Abdullah Abdullah, Governor of Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, and other distinguished guests.

It was opened by Dr. Jony Oktavian Haryanto, S.E., M.M., M.A., as the Rector of President University. There were approximately 250 participants that consist of lecturers, students, and coaches attended the event.

President University feels the sorrow of the earthquake and tsunami which occurred in Palu and Donggala, Central Sulawesi at the end of September (9/28). Two of its best students, Disa D. Lasahido (alumna International Relations 2011) and Glenn Mononutu (Business Administration 2015) have gone and left deep sadness for the entire university community.
