On Thursday, December 6, 2023, James Tulus Haider, a graduate of President University (Presuniv) from the class of 2003, donated 10 laptops. The donated laptops were handed over to the Director of the Alumni Office, Matnur Syuryadi, in Theater 1, President University Convention Center, Jl. H. Usmar Ismail, Jababeka City, Cikarang, Bekasi. This donation is a collaboration between James and PT Ipason Technology Indonesia, a computer hardware manufacturer. Representatives from students' parents and Ipason Technology were present at the event.
Continue ReadingOn Friday, December 1, 2023, following the the International Conference on Family Business and Entrepreneurship 2023 in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, the Rector of President University (Presuniv) Prof. Dr. Chairy, accompanied by Dr. Jhanghiz Syahrivar, lecturer of Management Study Program, headed directly to Kinabalu. Kinabalu is a city in Malaysia located on the west coast of Borneo, facing the South China Sea. In Kinabalu, Prof. Chairy met with Prof. Datuk Dr. Kasim Hj. Mansor, the Vice Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). The meeting was facilitated with the support of the Consulate General of Indonesia in Kota Kinabalu, Rafail Walangitan.

Continue ReadingThe Faculty of Business at President University (Presuniv) once again organized International Conference on Family Business and Entrepreneurship (ICFBE) from November 30 to December 1, 2023, at Hotel Raia in Kuching, Sarawak. This is the 7th conference held since its inception in 2017, the conference, themed Moving Forward, Moving Upward: Resilience and Innovation for Family Business and SMEs, has been a significant platform for discussions. Unlike previous editions held in Bali, this year's international conference took place outside Indonesia. According to Maria Jacinta Arquisola, MHRM, Ph.D., Vice Rector of Presuniv for Resources and Chairman of ICFBE 2023, "This marks a milestone for both ICFBE and Presuniv, as it is the first time ICFBE is held outside Indonesia."
Continue ReadingEvery year President University (Presuniv) accepts students from various countries around the world who wish to study in Indonesia. As part of a series of activities to welcome their arrival, the International Bureau, Presuniv, holds an introduction to Indonesian culture or Cultural Fest (Culurefest). This year's event was held over two days, namely Saturday 25 November – Sunday 26 November 2023, at the President University Convention Center (PUCC) building. The event was attended by more than 500 Presuniv students, including foreign students. The students staged several performances. Ranging from songs to regional and international dances, all performed by Presuniv students, including foreign students.
Continue ReadingThe International Relations Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, President University (Presuniv), in collaboration with the President University Major Association for International Relation (PUMA IR) 2023, joined forces to organize the screening of the film "Grand Paris" at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, Building A, Presuniv Campus at Jababeka Education Park, Cikarang, Bekasi, on Friday, November 24, 2023. The film screening was part of the 2023 French Cinema Festival program organized by the Institut Francais Indonesien (IFI). Present at the event were Syarah H. Andriani, the Head of Institut Francais Indonesien (IFI) Wijaya, Catheryn Andi Guezennec as the French tutor at IFI Wijaya, Budiman Sejatmiko as a course assistant, and Adam Kantar and Heloise Croise, who are both teachers from Labschool, Cibubur.
Continue ReadingA total of 27 students from the International Relations Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, President University (Presuniv), participated in a series of field lectures over a four-day period from November 22 to 25, 2023, in Probolinggo, East Java. They were guided by Dr. Muhammad Sigit Andi Rahman, a lecturer in the International Relations Study Program. During the field lecture, the students learned firsthand about the implementation of gender and disability in inclusive development programs. The Probolingo Projects are a result of the partnership between the Indonesian government and Australia. The goal of the program is to enhance inclusive and sustainable economic growth in the region through improved infrastructure access.
Continue ReadingSaturday, November 18 2023, Kadek Dharmayudha Aryaputra, student of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program (Prodi) batch 2022, President University (Presuniv), succeeded in becoming second place in the National Computer Aided Design (CAD) competition held at the National Engineering Institute (Itenas), Bandung, Collaborated with the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) with the Adhi Tama Surabaya Institute of Technology (ITATS). Present on this occasion were Liman Hartawan, ST, MT, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Itenas, and Ahmad Yusuf Ismail, Ph.D., Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service who is also a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, ITATS.
