Many people complain that they don't have the capital to start a business. The meaning of capital here is money. Is it true that capital always has to be money? This topic is discussed in the webinar "No Modal, No Sukses. Benarkah?”, Friday (05/02), organized by the President Development Center (PDC). This webinar was attended by more than 400 participants. The speaker was Saripin Taidy, founder and President Director of PT Probesco Disatama, a machinery and heavy equipment company. The webinar was hosted by Prof. Dr. Jony Haryanto, Rector of President University (PresUniv), and opened by Dr. (HC) SD Darmono, founder of PresUniv and Jababeka Group.

Saripin said, many people don’t start a business, because they don't have money as capital. In fact, money is only a small part of the meaning of capital. "Capital can be in any form, such as knowledge, skills, courage, networking, and the most important thing is attitude," he said. He added that one of my assets in doing business is honesty. Therefore, Saripin is trusted to market a product without paying first. He also emphasized that capital is not enough. There must be real action. "Ideas can be capital. However, ideas without real action will not produce anything, "said Saripin.

He also revealed that success has a broad scope. "Not only an entrepreneur, but being a good professional is also a success. Success is a journey, not a destination, ” he said again. To be successful, Saripin shared a tip, "Read a minimum of two books every month." He added, "There are five book topics that are always read by successful people, namely on human relationships, negotiation, leadership, biographies, and entrepreneurship." The webinar ended with Saripin's question and answer session with the participants. (Gilang Suryanata, PR team)

Saripin Taidy: Modal Tidak Selalu Harus Uang

Materi itulah yang dibahas dalam webinar “No Modal, No Sukses.

Success is a journey, not a destination,” katanya lagi.
