President University (PresUniv) is always committed to providing scholarships for Indonesian students to continue their education to a higher level. For this reason, PresUniv collaborated with Medcom.id (news and video portals) and 18 other Private Universities to hold an Online Scholarship Competition (OSC) 2020. OSC is the first online scholarship competency in Indonesia, so OSC participants no longer need to come to campus to register and take the test in person.
The participants took part in the online selection and the announcement of the scholarship winners were annouced at the OSC Medcom Virtual Award 2020, Friday (29/1). The OSC Medcom Virtual Award 2020 invited Bambang Brodjonegoro, Minister of Research and Technology, Minister of Communication and Information Johnny G. Plate, and 19 Rectors, including Prof. Dr. Jony Oktavian Haryanto, Rector of PresUniv. Prof. Jony had the opportunity to announce the names of scholarship winners from PresUniv.
On that occasion, Prof. Jony said, “Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many students in Indonesia have difficulty continuing their education to a higher level. That is why PresUniv is very supportive of the Medcom OSC scholarship program for students throughout Indonesia who are in dire need of educational assistance. " The winners of this scholarship will be free of semester tuition for four years of study at PresUniv. (Gilang Suryanata, PR team).
PresUniv Berikan Beasiswa Lewat Online Scholarship Competition 2020
President University (PresUniv) terus berkomitmen untuk memberikan beasiswa bagi putra-putri Indonesia agar bisa melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Untuk itu, PresUniv berkolaborasi dengan Medcom.id (portal berita dan video) dan 18 Penguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS) lainnya mengadakan Online Scholarship Competition (OSC) 2020. OSC merupakan kompetensi beasiswa online pertama di Indonesia, sehingga peserta OSC tidak lagi perlu datang ke kampus untuk mendaftarkan diri dan mengikuti tes secara langsung.
Para peserta mengikuti seleksi secara online dan pengumuman penerima beasiswa ini disampaikan dalam OSC Medcom Virtual Award 2020, Jumat (29/1). OSC Medcom Virtual Award 2020 mengundang Bambang Brodjonegoro, Menteri Riset dan Teknologi, Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Johnny G. Plate, serta 19 Rektor PTS pendukung, termasuk Prof. Dr. Jony Oktavian Haryanto, Rektor PresUniv. Prof. Jony berkesempatan mengumumkan nama-nama pemenang penerima beasiswa dari PresUniv dalam program OSC 2020.
Pada kesempatan itu, Prof. Jony mengungkapkan, “Akibat pandemi Covid-19, banyak pelajar di Indonesia yang kesulitan untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Itu sebabnya PresUniv sangat mendukung program beasiswa OSC Medcom bagi pelajar-pelajar di seluruh Indonesia yang sangat membutuhkan bantuan pendidikan.” Para pemenang beasiswa ini akan bebas uang semester selama empat tahun kuliah di PresUniv.
