On Monday, 28, 2023, President University (Presuniv) officially received a Decree (SK) from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kementerian Pendidikan, Budaya, Riset dan Teknologi atau Kemendikbudristek) regarding permission to establish a Faculty of Medicine. The decree was awarded by the Head of the Higher Education Service Institution (Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi atau LLDIKTI) Region IV West Java-Banten, Dr. M. Samsuri, S.Pd., MT, to the Chancellor of the Presuniv, Prof. Dr. Chairy, and witnessed directly by the Chairman of the University of the President Education Foundation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji, DEA, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. dr. Budi Setiabudiawan, Sp.A(K), M.Kes. The SK was awarded at the LLDIKTI Region IV offices in the Cikutra area, Bandung, West Java.

In accordance with the decree issued on August 21, 2023, the Ministry of Education and Culture allowed Presuniv to open a medical study program (undergraduate program) and a doctoral professional education study program (professional program) this year.
