What's happening in PresUniv
Over the two days Thursday and Friday, May 11–12, 2023, the Master of Technology Management (MM Tech) Study Program, Faculty of Business, President University (Presuniv), underwent a field assessment. This is part of the process in the framework of study program accreditation. According to regulations, since 2022 the study program accreditation process will no longer be carried out by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), but by LAMEMBA, or the Independent Accreditation Institute for Economics, Business Management, and Accounting. The two LAMEMBA assessors who carried out the field assessment were Prof. Dr Hatane Semuel, MS, from Petra Christian University, Surabaya, East Java, and Felisitas Defung, SE, MM, PhD, from Mulawarman University, Samarinda, East Kalimantan.
In her opening remarks the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Maria Jacinta Arquisola, BA, PhD, MHRM, said, "This is the first accreditation at the Faculty of Business conducted by LAMEMBA. Previously, the accreditation process was carried out by BAN-PT. Hopefully, we get the best results." Meanwhile, the Head of the MM Tech Study Program, Dr Anton Wachidin Widjaja, SE, MM, revealed that for the field assessments, he and his team had prepared self-evaluation documents and various other supporting documents, including students, alumni, and graduate users. "Through this accreditation, we hope to receive input from the assessors so that the MM Tech Study Program can continue to improve its performance," said Anton.
The accreditation process such as the document checking, interviews, and verification was carried out in Room B106, Building B, Presuniv Campus at Jababeka Education Park, Kota Jababeka, Cikarang. In addition, the assessors also inspected various facilities that support lecture activities for the MM Tech Study Program, such as libraries, classrooms, laboratories, Fabrication Laboratorium or FabLab, and various other facilities.
