Thursday, 2 March 2023, students from the Communication Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, President University (Presuniv), conducted a Media Visit to BBC News Indonesia. The purpose of the visit was to introduce the students to a active international news organization operating in Indonesia so that the students would know how journalists work. Present at the Media Visit were the Head of Communication Study Program M. Raudy Gathmyr, S.Sos., M.Sc., Achmad Supardi, S.IP., M.A., lecturer of Communication Studies Study Program, and Prisca Priscila Papilaya, S.I.Kom, M.I.Kom, lecturer of Communication Study Program. The Communication Study Program group was received by Jerome Eugene Wirawan, Editor in Chief, BBC News Indonesia.

On this occasion, Jerome explained the concept of The Voiceless that BBC Indonesia wanted to give a voice to. Topics include Women, Children, Disabled People, Minority in Ethnic, Race, Religion, and several others. Jerome also explained the work system at BBC Indonesia. He said, "BBC Indonesia always presents news that has a big impact, is in-depth, and the BBC looks for a different angle from the news services. ." BBC Indonesia currently has 20 journalists and is very concerned about the mental and physical health of its journalists. BBC Indonesia, said Jerome, is more concerned with quality than quantity.

The head of the Media Visit 2023 project, Hedwiga Maura Clarentia Sadipun, was very impressed with the visit to BBC Indonesia. He said, “It is very interesting to be able to visit an international news media organization, such as BBC Indonesia.
