The team from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) of the Republic of Indonesia visited the University Campus and the Faculty of Medicine (FoM) building at, President University (Presuniv), Wednesday (12/10). Representing the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Dra. Oos Fatimah Rosyati, M.Kes., Director of Provision of Health Workers, Directorate General of Health Workers, together with drg. Arianti Anaya, M.K.M., Director General of Health Workers. In addition, there was also the representative from the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Bekasi Regency, dr. Nasrallah. This visit aimed to review the progress of opening the Prodi Pendidikan Kedokteran (PSPK) dan Prodi Pendidikan Profesi Dokter (PSPPD) at FoM Presuniv.

During this visit, Oos Fatimah have a look to the Faculty of Medicine Presuniv building accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji, DEA., Chairman of the President's University Education Foundation (YPUP), Prof. Dr. Chairy, Rector of Presuniv, Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Fennieka Kristianto, S.H., M.H., M.A., M.Kn., Vice Rector for Resources, and Dr. Josep Ginting, S.E., M.M., Vice Rector for Business Development. Also in attendance were Prof. Dr. Budi Setiabudiawan, dr., Sp.A(K)., M.Kes., Dean of FoM PresUniv, and dr. Edhyana Kusumastuti Sahiratmadja, Ph. D., Head of the Medical Study Program Presuniv.

After looking around the facilities and study rooms of FoM Presuniv, the tour was the followed by discussions and presentations regarding the establishment of FoM Presuniv. Presuniv has now fulfilled all of the necessary requirements to establish the FoM. In the discussion session, Arianti gave an evaluation of the founding documents of FoM Presuniv and related health problems in Indonesia. According to Arianti, it is necessary to overturn the moratorium on the establishment of new FoM so that they can immediately support Ministry of Health programs, such as the Academic Health System (AHS) and the need for health workers.
