What's happening in PresUniv
Friday (26/8), Bureau of Internship & Career Center (ICC), President University (PresUniv), held a Virtual Internship and Career Fair (VICF) 2022. At this event, PT Wide Technologies Indonesia, a company that provides IT applications for the banking industry presented to the students. In the past, Wide Technology was known as Aprisma. “We wish to recruit many new graduates from PresUniv and thank you for participating in this event. Since we were called Aprisma, we have often collaborated with PresUniv. In the future, hopefully, there will be additional areas that we can collaborate on," said Arif Priyanto, HR Manager of PT Wide Technology Indonesia.
The session was also attended by Tobias, an alumnus of PresUniv. “I joined this company in 2006 when it was still called Aprisma. I started out in the internship program,” said Tobias. Thanks to his good performance during his apprenticeship, Tobias was then offered the opportuinity to join the company. He then said, “Working at Wide Technology is like being on a second campus. So, while studying on campus there were materials that you have yet to master, here at Aprisma I am still learning, especially about topics that are more in line with the needs of the world of work.” Tobias also feels the benefits of the lecture system at PresUniv which is that all instruction is in English. “Thanks to my ability to speak English, I am often invited to meetings with clients from abroad.
