Thursday (23/6), RCTI held a Campus Special Hunt in the context of the Miss Indonesia 2022 audition at President University (PresUniv). The winner of Miss Indonesia will be the official representative of Indonesia in the Miss World contest. To become Miss Indonesia, participants must have a MISS personality, namely Manner, Impressive, Smart, and Social. For this reason, the participants must have the character of beauty with a purpose, namely someone who has beauty, special abilities, and makes a positive contribution to the lives of the surrounding community.
Yan Satriana, Off-Air Section Head of RCTI, said that PresUniv students were very enthusiastic about auditioning for Miss Indonesia. “In terms of quantity, many are interested in taking part in this audition. So far, so good. The auditions went well. Moreover, lectures have started offline," he said. According to Yan, PresUniv has an international environment. “This can be seen from the use of English in lectures and conversations in the campus environment. Both between lecturers and students, as well as fellow students. A good habit. Not all campuses do it," he said.
In the Miss Indonesia selection process, according to Yan, PresUniv students have varied characteristics. “The students do not only come from Java, but also Sumatra, Sulawesi, and Papua. We are trying to explore this potential from PresUniv, because the regional and provincial origins are very varied,” he added.
