Thursday (2/6), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dra. Genoveva, MM, Head of the Management Study Program at President University (PresUniv), and Edward Halomoan Simanjuntak, a student from the Management Study Program, PresUniv, won the second prize for best paper at the International Conference on Family Business and Entrepreneurship (ICFBE) 2022. ICFBE is an event that brings together academics with business and government practitioners and is organized by the Faculty of Business, PresUniv. Genoveva and Edward's paper entitled The Role of Social Media Instagram on Customer Trust in Improving SME Business Purchasing Decisions.

Edward said he was very delighted with this achievement and had the opportunity to attend this great conference. “There are many lessons that I can take from this international conference. Moreover, ICFBE also presented many speakers that I admired. So, this is one of my most beautiful experiences,” he said. Edward hopes that many young people can develop and work in the business sector after attending this conference.

Meanwhile, Genoveva said, this international event can be a medium to introduce students to international events and provide opportunities for them to present in front of participants from various countries. Genoveva said, this paper was a collaboration between lecturer and student. “This is very good method as students gain experience in howe to conduct  research and lecturers benefit by having  assistants who can  work on technical matters, such as searching for respondents, questionnaires, and processing data," she explained.
