In order to help students select the right concentration, the Management Study Program, President University (PresUniv), held a Management Concentration Talk 2022, Saturday (4/6). PresUniv students sharpen the focus of their student learning by selecting concentrations in their 5th semester. This event was presented by four speakers, all of whom were alumni of the Management Study Program, PresUniv. They were Ade Dwi Septiani Jusa who now works as Human Resources Retail Network Development, at Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia (DCVI); Paulina Margareta, Senior Associate Consultant at AJCapital Advisory; Rizky Darsani who is a Senior Supervisor at PT Debito Korporindo Utama; and Anastasia Purwanti Putri Wahyu, Senior Market Research Analyst at Stickearn.

When opening the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Business, PresUniv, Maria Jacinta Arquisola, BA, MHRM, PhD, emphasized that choosing a concentration is not easy. So, she advised, "If you're confused, always go back to the basics, which is to choose whatever you are passionate about and what's in your heart." Jacinta also said that regardless of the concentration, students must still have these three skills, namely being digitally savvy, self-confident with good emotional intelligence, and the mastery of various foreign languages. She hopes that students choose their concentrations wisely and discuss their choices with their parents.

In the alumni sharing session, Ade conveyed two reasons why he chose the Human Capital concentration, namely being able to learn the HR process, from hiring to firing, and studying HR as a business partner, which shows that modern HR is more than just an administrative job. Meanwhile, Anastasia said that marketing is not only about selling. She said, “There are various areas that can be explored. One of them is marketing research and analytics.” The International Business (IB) concentration session was hosted by Rizky.
