Saturday (18/12), the Bureau of Internship & Career Center (ICC), President University (PresUniv), held an internship briefing for students to do internships in the next semester, January-April 2022. This internship briefing is also one of the agendas of the Career Bootcamp which organized by ICC with the support of the Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PKKM) from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. More than 100 students participated in this event. For the event, ICC presented Munaji, People Lead of MSC Indonesia from PT Mondelez Indonesia Manufacturing.

When opening the briefing, ICC Director JB Susetiyo, emphasized that internships are no longer just an opportunity for students to learn how to work, but have become a new pipeline for recruitment. “Nowadays more and more companies are using internships as a tools for recruit new employees. One of them is PT Mondelez Indonesia Manufacturing,” said Susetiyo. It is this phenomenon that makes ICC now make internships as "zero point" of the student career journey.

In his presentation with the topic From Talent Internship to Talent Hiring, Munaji talked a lot about the do's and don'ts during student internships. "Take the internship as an opportunity to hone technical skills, improve interpersonal skills, including building networks," said Munaji. During the internship, continued Munaji, students must be pro-active. Don't be passive. He said, “Don't just wait for assignments from the supervisor, but actively ask questions. Don't just work mediocre, but show that students can give more or beyond expectations." On that occasion, Munaji also explained how to make a good curriculum vitae, including details of the tests that students must take if they want to get an internship opportunity and have a career at Mondelez.
