Bureau of Internship & Career Center (ICC), President University (PresUniv), in collaboration with the Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PKKM) held a webinar Boosting Your Values ??with Data Analytics Skills, Thursday (16/12). The webinar presents Purwandaru Widyastono, Managing Director of Sunartha, a company engaged in technology-based training and solutions business, including Data Analytics. Join in this webinar Dr. Adhi Setyo Santoso, ST, MBA, Director of the President Research Center and also a lecturer in the Business Administration Study Program at PresUniv.

In his opening remarks, Director of ICC JB Susetiyo revealed that Data Analytics is a new skill that PresUniv students need to have before they run an internship program. "By mastering these skills, the opportunities for students to get internships, and even eventually be directly recruited by companies, become more open," said Susetiyo. Meanwhile, Adhi Setyo added, "Nowadays more and more companies are looking for human resources who have skills in processing data, including presenting it."

During the webinar, Purwandaru explained the importance of Data Analytics applications in making business decisions. “In the past, many people made business decisions using feeling. That's OK. However, if the decision is supported by data, it will be much better,” said Purwandaru. In addition, the Data Analytics application also makes across unit in the company work more integrated. No longer forming silos. During the webinar session, Purwandaru demonstrated how using the Tableau application, as one of the Data Analytics software, really makes it easier for users to conduct business analysis, including for decision making.
