Raka Achmad Pradana, an alumnus of the Law Study Program, President University (PresUniv), batch 2014. Raka is one of the alumni who had the opportunity to continue his study at the Master's level at Pennsylvania State University (Penn State Law), United States, through scholarships. This Master of Law Scholarship is the collaboration between PresUniv Law Study Program and Penn State Law. Raka is also the chairman of the 2014 Law Study Program Alumni Association, PresUniv.

Raka revealed that he continued his master's education because he wanted to learn more from cultural aspects of life, including the law itself. "I want to see the point of view of other people from different countries," he said. As a result, he gained a lot of valuable experience during his study at Penn State Law. One of them is when he was elected as the representative for the Master of Law (LLM) students at the Student Bar Association (SBA) last September 2020. The SBA is the official Penn State Law student organization that acts as the student representative on campus.

Raka was chosen to be the LLM representative in SBA after went through the general election for law school students, which previously went through the campaign process. He admits that he is confident because while studying at PresUniv, he has improved his communication skills in English a lot. "That is because all courses are provided in English, so it is effortless to convey aspirations and campaigns," he said. Not only that, his organizational experience while at PresUniv also greatly supported him to adapt to organizational life easier. Moreover, because he was already used to the international atmosphere at PresUniv, he did not feel any culture shock when dealing with other representatives. (Silvia Desi Betrice. Photo: Raka)
