In some communities, the issue of the Covid-19 vaccine and vaccination is still confusing. To clarify this matter, President University (PresUniv), in collaboration with BNI Life, invited dr. Siti Yunita from Permata Bekasi Hospital to provide socialization about this vaccine. The socialization event, which took place on Wednesday (24/2), was conducted through webinars.

Yunita explained that the Covid-19 vaccine is very safe because it has gone through the preclinical test (laboratory and animal tests) and clinical trials (humans). "So it is safe and lawful to use," said Yunita. Currently, Indonesia has passed one vaccination period for health workers, followed by a second period, namely vaccination for public service workers. In the next step, it is the turn of the vulnerable and the general public. "Those who have been infected with Covid-19 can also receive the vaccine, but it must be three months after testing negative," said Yunita.

Yunita further explained that humans could not be immune to the virus - even though they have been vaccinated. Even though they have been vaccinated, people still have to apply 3M, namely wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining distance. "This must always be done, first when having to do activities outside the home," he concluded firmly. (Lita Gabriella, PR team)
