Indonesia-Vietnam bilateral relations have existed for a long time. Indonesia's trade value with Vietnam has reached US$ 10 billion or approximately IDR 150 trillion. The guest lecture was held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, Presuniv, on Wednesday (13 /9). Present at the guest lecture were Vice Rector for Academics Affairs Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., Advisor for Rectorate Ibnu Hadi M.Ec., who is also the Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam (2016-2020), Director of Secretariat Dr. Dra. Fennieka Kristianto, S.H., M.H., M.A., M.Kn., as well as more than 100 students from the Faculty of Humanities.
According to Agustaviano, more than 1,000 Indonesian citizens live in Vietnam, and the Indonesian Embassy guarantees their security. "Expanding Indonesia-Vietnam cooperation plays an important role in economic growth in the region," said Agustaviano. One of the big cities in Vietnam, which is the business and economic centre of the country, is Ho Chi Minh. Ibnu Hadi said, "I once lived there.
