Saturday, March 4, 2023, the Law Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, President University (Presuniv), held a Community Service (PkM) seminar which discussed the Strategy for Successfully becoming a Contract Employee and General Knowledge Regarding the Electronic  Information and Transactions (ITE Law), in the PT building Mardizu Sejahtera, Jababeka, Cikarang. Present were lecturers from the Law Study Program, Manasye Mahayoni and Dr. Robert Radjaguguk, both speakers, students of the Presuniv Law Study Program, and Sumilan, Director of Mardizu Sejahtera as the householder, and other employees.

In this PkM, Mahayoni and Robert discussed the public's curiosity about Job Creation regulation (Perppu No. 2 of 2022). For example, what are the advantages and tips for success as a contract employee or a Non-Permanent Contract Employee (PKWT) following the Job Creation Perppu, as well as tips and tricks for managing the income of contract employees. Through this activity, workers will be able to see the positive side of the Perppu, including comprehending the misunderstandings circulating in the broader community regarding legal policies for contract employees.

Mahayoni hopes that the themes discussed in the activity can renew mindsets in responding to policy changes and continue to provide the best results, regardless of the status of the employment relationship. "I also hope that Presuniv's presence can benefit the community around the campus," said Mahayoni. The audience welcomed this event with enthusiasm. The participants asked many questions during the session. (Keren Gracelie, PR team. Photo: Manasye Mahayoni)
