"Air pollution is a silent killer. Pollution has a negative impact and slowly undermines our health without us knowing it. Meanwhile, the environment that we currently live in produces harmful substances that collect in the air and cause pollution," said Kathleen Yasmin, a student representative for President University (Presuniv), in a discussion at the film screening of Sengal with Bicara Udara held in the Theater Room, Fablab Jababeka Convention Center, Wednesday (25/1, 2023).

Present at the event were Donald Samuel Slamet Santosa, S.Pd., M.M., M.Pd., D.Th., Head of the Student Affairs Bureau, and Nonce Stella Nelwan, a representative from Bike to Work. Nonce, a cycling activist, shared her thoughts, "Through this film, we will raise public awareness and highlight that the pollution produced by private vehicles has reached a very worrying level. So, before it's too late, we need to start to care about the environment and start using bicycles as a our means of transportation over short distances ."

Agreeing with Kathleen and Nonce, Donald added, "To care about the environment, we need to make lifestyle changes. We can start with ourselves and don't stop caring about environmental health." (Lita Gabriella, PR team. Photo: Lita)
