Wednesday (18/01), Wheelchairs And Friendship Center Of Asia Indonesia (WAFCAI) and the Asia Friendship Center (Indonesia) provided wheelchair assistance to the student dormitories of President University (Presuniv). This handover was carried out by Leonard Lesman, Operational Manager of WAFCA Indonesia, accompanied by Agus Suratno, Project Coordinator. Sunardi, Asset Manager and Building President of University Student Housing (PUSH) received the wheelchair, accompanied by Anwary Hilmi, Dormitory Manager, PUSH staff, mentor, and resident assistant. "This wheelchair is provided to support students with special needs and build inclusivity in the educational environment. Through this assistance, it is hoped that students will have a good social spirit, care for one another, and share," said Leonard Lasman.
One of the wheelchairs was immediately used by the student, Razean Dzar Al Ghifari, Visual Communication Design (VCD), Batch 2022, Presuniv. PUSH Director, Manassee Mahayoni said, “The provision of wheelchairs enables those with special needs to feel the care and support of the administrators and colleagues in the boardinghouse.
