Thursday (4/8), President University (PresUniv) welcomed a visit from the team from the Islamic Religious Institute (Institut Agama Islam Kotamobagu or (IAIK), who are located in Kotamobagu, North Sulawesi. This visit was a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the two parties earlier on Thursday (21/7). The IAIK team included, Drs. H. Jemmy Lantong, Chairman of the Darul Muttaqin Foundation in Kotamobagu, Hadi Pandunata, Vice Chairman of the IAIK Board of Patrons, Victor Pandunata, Supervisor of the Darul Muttaqin Foundation in Kotamobagu, Dr. (Cand.) Muliadi Mokodompit, SE., Msi., Rector of IAIK, and his team.

The arrival of the IAIK team was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Chairy, Rector of PresUniv, Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Academics, and Marissa Astika, B.Sc., MBA, Head of the Partnerships Bureau. Several bureau heads and other units in PresUniv were also present.

At this meeting, IAIK, which is still a new institution, discussed the potential for collaboration with PresUniv. This is so that IAIK can develop and grow as an institute much like the process PresUniv went through as it grew. For this reason, several departments from PresUniv meet with the visitors to share experiences and explore the potential for cooperation in various fields, especially those related to the Tri Dharma of higher education. The departments that attended included the Student Affairs Bureau, New Student Admissions, the Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance (DPMI), the Center for Language and Culture (CLC), to the President Development Center (PDC).
