Wednesday (15/6), Korea Indonesia Management Association (KIMA) held a meeting with its members at Jababeka Golf & Country Club, Cikarang, Bekasi. Present on that occasion the Chairman of KIMA Dr. SD Darmono, who is also the founder of President University. In addition, also attended the Secretary of the President's University Education Foundation (Yayasan Pendidikan Universitas Presiden atau YPUP), Prof. Dr. Jony Oktavian Haryanto, and the Rector of President University Prof. Dr. Chairy.

On that event, Darmono conveyed his views on Indonesia's economic and business prospects. Meanwhile, Jony Haryanto hopes that this activity can further strengthen relations between Indonesia and South Korea, through KIMA. "So far, Indonesia's relations with South Korea have been very good. Through KIMA, hopefully there will be more activities that can be carried out together, including activities in the field of education, so as to strengthen relations between the two countries," said Jony Haryanto.

Coinciding with the event, KIMA also give donation to the President Special Needs Center (PSNC), an educational institution for Children with Special Needs (Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus or ABK), located at Jababeka Education Park, Ki Hajar Dewantara Street, Jababeka City, Cikarang. PSNC exist to answer the continuous trend of ABK, while on the other hand the number of services and special education are still lacking. Likewise, the number of professionals who capable of handling ABK are still limited. PSNC also expected to be the largest and most comprehensive one stop interaction center as well as a reference center for handling ABK in Indonesia. (Gilang Suryanata, PR team. Photo: Doc. PresUniv)
