This years, Mr. & Ms. President University (PresUniv) event was held on Saturday, (9/4. Last year the event was held online, this year the entire series of events was held offline by implementing strict health protocols. At Mr. & Ms. President University 2022, 11 finalists made it to the finale, namely the Coronation Day held in the Graha Wisata Cikarang Theatre Building. The finalists will later act as Ambassadors for PresUniv and represent the University in off campus activities.
To qualify for the finale, the finalists first went through a selection process. The Project Manager of Mr. & Ms. PresUniv 2022 Kadek Putri Mahandari from the Business Administration Study Program (batch 2021) said that during the selection process the contestants received training to develop the characteristics required of Mr. & Ms. PresUniv, which are referred to 3B + 1T (Brain, Beauty, Behaviour + Talent). “During their selection process, they attended various classes, such as beauty class, public speaking class, and catwalk.class After the classes there was a talent show where the contestants got to showcase their respective talents in public arena .,The contestants then carried out a social project at a local orphanages in Bekasi," she explained.
On Coronation Day, the finalists were tested fielding questions about current issues for the 5 special judges. The judges where Gilbert Pangalila, Top 10 Mr. Supranational 2017, Yoan Clara Teken, 5th Runner-Up of Puteri Indonesia 2020, Donald Samuel Santosa, Head of the Student Affairs Bureau PresUniv, and the winner of Mr. & Ms. PresUniv 2021. , Akbar Alifandy Kresnawan was elected as Mr. PresUniv 2022, and Ni Nyoman Ayu Krisna Dewi as Ms. PresUniv 2022, both are students from the Business Administration Study Program (batch 2021), Mikhail Petersy (International Relations Study Program 2020) was the First Runner-up Mr. PresUniv 2022, Raya Maghfiratunnisa (Business Administration Study Program 2021) as First Runner-up Ms. PresUniv 2022. As well as crowning the winners, awards where made to other student who won the categories, namely Most Favourite, Best Talent, Best Catwalk, Most Photogenic, and Best Costume.
