As part of the Economic Survival course, President University (Presuniv) organized a seminar titled "Navigating the Professional Landscape: An Insightful Seminar on Professional Conference Organization." This seminar was part of a series of guest lectures, that took place on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, 5th floor, Building A, Presuniv Campus on Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara, Jababeka Education Park, Cikarang, Bekasi. This session featured guest speaker Prof. Dr. Nurdin Purnomo, an academician, politician, and tourism business practitioner.

This visit aimed to improve the student's understanding of the business practices in the hotel sector. During the visit, the Presuniv team was received by the General Manager of the Holiday Inn Hotel Diece Soraya, HRD Coordinator Mayasari Lamawuran, and their team.
Continue ReadingFriday, January 12 2024, several accounting lecturers and students held a 'Pelatihan UMKM Naik Kelas: Pencatatan Kelar, Keuangan Lancar' at the Fabrication Laboratory (Fablab), President University Convention Center, Jl. H. Usmar Ismail, Jababeka City, Cikarang. This event was initiated by three lecturers from the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Business, President University, namely Dr. Supeni Anggraeni Mapuasari, SE, M.Sc., Chita Oktapriana, M.Ak., CSRS., CMA, and Vita Elisa Fitriana, SE, M.Sc. Supeni said, "We lecturers also run Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or MSMEs. Therefore, we understand how important financial reports are for people in the MSME business. Unfortunately, many people do not understand this. That is the rationale behind our decision to hold this training event.”

For instance, since its first academic year in 2002, Presuniv has welcomed the presence of foreign students from various countries, with a significant number coming from China. To this day, Presuniv continues to host numerous foreign students, especially from China.

Sylvana Uli Basa Evi Dame Manaloe, Talent Acquisition & Company Branding Manager from Argon Group, participated as a speaker.
Continue ReadingOn Friday, January 19th 2024, President University (Presuniv) received a visit from the Gucang New Guohua Research Institute from China. On this occasion, the delegation from the Gucang New Guohua Research Institute visited various facilities at Presuniv, such as the Adam Kurniawan Library, the Charles Himawan Auditorium, and also the Fabrication Laboratory (Fablab) at the President University Convention Center. Apart from visiting various facilities on campus, the delegation from the Gucang New Guohua Research Institute listened to a more detailed presentation about Presuniv. During the presentation, they discussed several things. Among them is the multi-national student body at Presuniv which accepts many foreign students from countries all over the world. In fact, from 2017 to 2022, Presuniv was recorded to have accepted the most foreign students at the undergraduate or S1 category in Indonesia.
Continue ReadingRijal Hakiki, an Environmental Engineering lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at President University (Presuniv), was awarded a Doctoral degree with the distinction of "Very Satisfactory" from the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Bandung, on Monday, January 8, 2024. In his dissertation, Rijal focused on the research topic of Digital Image Processing and Analysis as an Approach to Measuring Pollutant Concentrations in Surface Water. Rijal explained, "The selection of this topic was based on the fact that the increasing population, human activities, and lifestyles are directly related to the decline in water quality." He emphasized that the measurement activities are an integral part of the water quality monitoring process, requiring various principles and measurement instrumentation. Rijal stated, "The image processing and digital analysis-based measurements I proposed could be a potential alternative approach for further development."
Continue ReadingFor four consecutive days, Monday to Thursday, 15th-18th January 2024, the Architecture Study Program (Prodi), Faculty of Engineering, President University (Presuniv), held an exhibition with the theme Wild Wonders and Modern Living. The exhibition was held in the lobby of Building A, Presuniv Campus at Jababeka Education Park, Cikarang, Bekasi. The Head of the Architecture Study Program, Erina Ashera, S.Ars., M.Ars., said, "At the end of each studio design lesson for Basic Architecture and Architecture, the students will always exhibit the work they created in the studio."
