Thursday (2/6), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dra. Genoveva, MM, Head of the Management Study Program at President University (PresUniv), and Edward Halomoan Simanjuntak, a student from the Management Study Program, PresUniv, won the second prize for best paper at the International Conference on Family Business and Entrepreneurship (ICFBE) 2022. ICFBE is an event that brings together academics with business and government practitioners and is organized by the Faculty of Business, PresUniv. Genoveva and Edward's paper entitled The Role of Social Media Instagram on Customer Trust in Improving SME Business Purchasing Decisions.

In order to help students select the right concentration, the Management Study Program, President University (PresUniv), held a Management Concentration Talk 2022, Saturday (4/6). PresUniv students sharpen the focus of their student learning by selecting concentrations in their 5th semester. This event was presented by four speakers, all of whom were alumni of the Management Study Program, PresUniv. They were Ade Dwi Septiani Jusa who now works as Human Resources Retail Network Development, at Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia (DCVI); Paulina Margareta, Senior Associate Consultant at AJCapital Advisory; Rizky Darsani who is a Senior Supervisor at PT Debito Korporindo Utama; and Anastasia Purwanti Putri Wahyu, Senior Market Research Analyst at Stickearn.

President University (PresUniv) visited Triatma Mulya University (Untrim) in North Kuta, Badung, Bali, Friday (3/6). This visit was carried out following the 2022 International Conference on Family Business and Entrepreneurship (ICFBE) event, with Untrim being the co-host. The PresUniv team consisted of the Rector Prof. Dr. Chairy, Vice Rector for Resources, Dr. Dra. Fennieka Kristianto, S.H., M.H., M.A., M.Kn., Dean of the Faculty of Business Maria Jacinta Arquisola, BA, MHRM, PhD, and Head of Business Administration Study Program Suresh Kumar, S.T., M.Sc. This visit was welcomed by the Vice Rector for Academics Untrim, Dr. Ni Luh Putu Agusstini Karta and other Untrim managers.

The podcast was held at the Integrated Creative Engineering Learning Lab (i-CELL) owned by FTUI and was guided by Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji, DEA, Chairman of the President University Education Foundation (YPUP). There were two speakers in the podcast, namely Dr. SD Darmono, Chairman of Jabebaka Group and founder of PresUniv, and Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, St., M.Eng., IPU., Dean of FTUI.

This means that universities often lag behind companies in their understanding of the market. So, in order be up to date with the latest developments in the industrial world, universities need to establish good relationships with many companies. Farida Komalasari, MSi. and Suresh Kumar, S.T., M.Sc., who is also the Head of Business Administration Study Program, PresUniv. This training took place offline for two days, Monday and Tuesday (23-24 May 2022) with the theme “Digital Financial Management”. Before providing the training, both Farida and Suresh had attended the DEA Training of Trainers with the same theme, namely Digital Financial Management.

Sunday (29/5), President University (PresUniv) held a webinar entitled bertajuk Pilih Jurusan Sesuai dengan Passion Kamu. The webinar was presented by three speakers, namely Victor Jastine, Founder and CEO of Maze Build, Fedie Mulia, Founder and Director of Halofresh, and Angga Hardian Anugrah, Business Manager of Lagio Home. These three speakers are experts in their respective fields. The speakers offered their perspective on the opportunities in their fields of expertise covering architecture, digital agribusiness, and interior design. In this webinar, they conveyed their line of business and career opportunities in these three fields.
