Dr. Ir. Farida Komalasari, MSi., a lecturer in the Business Administration Study Program, President University (PresUniv), spoke at the recent workshop titled Pilot of Staff Training Workshop for Leadership Management Development Program (LMDP), Thursday (14/7). This workshop was organized by the Indonesian Higher Education Leaders Consortium (iHiLead) in a hybrid way, 11th-15th July 2022, at Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII), Yogyakarta. In this workshop, Farida delivered two presentations, firstly Managing Resources - Financial Resources and secondly Managing of Change and Risks.
Continue ReadingThe Internship and Career Center (ICC), President University (PresUniv), held a Pre-Internship lecture by inviting two alumni to share their experiences, namely Luo Xude, commonly called Paul Luo (Information Technology batch 2002), and Wahyu Rahardian Yana Prasetya (Law batch 2012 ), Friday (15/7). Paul is a graduate of PresUniv's first batch of international students. He explained his reason for studying at PresUniv, even though it was just being founded at that time. He said, "I see PresUniv as my home, a place where I can grow. At PresUniv, I had the opportunity to prove that I could be successful even though this campus was just established," said Paul. Now, Paul is the Co-Founder & CEO of PT Batavia Prosperindo Investama.

The handover and signing of the MoU document were witnessed by Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji, DEA, Chairman of the President University Foundation (YPUP); Dr. Josep Ginting, S.E., M.M., Vice Rector for Business Development at PresUniv; Prof. Dr. Budi Setiabudiawan, dr., Sp.A(K), M. Kes., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (FoM) at PresUniv; Marissa Astika, Head of the Partnership Bureau at PresUniv; and Prof. Dr.med. dr. Tri Hanggono Achmad from Padjadjaran University.

The ceremonywas held at Swiss-Belhotel Serpong, along with the training seminar organized by DPD REI Banten. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Chairy, Rector of PresUniv, and Ir. Roni H. Adali, Head of the DPD REI Banten. The signing was witnessed by R. Haryo Bekti Martoyoedo, ST, MSc. Director of Pelaksanaan Pembiayaan Perumahan Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR), Paulus Totok Lusida, Chairman of DPP REI, and Hirwandi Gafar, Director of Consumer & Commercial Lending at Bank BTN.
Continue ReadingPresident University (PresUniv) invited its outstanding students and alumni to have lunch together at the President Lounge, Menara Batavia on Jl. KH Mas Mansyur, Jakarta, Wednesday (13/7). Those in attendance were alumni who qualified for scholarships from the Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) 2022 program and students who qualified to get student exchange scholarships in the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2022 program. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Chairy, Rector of PresUniv, got to know the students. Furthermore, the students and alumni also received compliments from Prof. Dr. Jony Oktavian Haryanto, Secretary of the President University Foundation (YPUP), as well as direct advice from Ibnu Hadi M.Ec., Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam (2016-2020) and Advisor to the Rector of PresUniv.

The six alumni were introduced to a luncheon at the President Lounge, Menara Batavia, Jakarta, Wednesday (13/7). They come from different study programs.

The presence of these students has indirectly started a relationship between PresUniv and the Timor Leste Embassy for Indonesia. Now, there are currently 115 East Timorese students studying at PresUniv.
