VICF 2022: APL Offers Internship Opportunities for President Univ Students

PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari (APL) is the only pharmaceutical distribution company that does not have its own factory. This is different from several other pharmaceutical distribution companies, which have their own factories. By not having its own factory, APL can become more independent in serving its customers.This was emphasized by Leonardo Mihardja, Talent Acquisition Manager of APL, in the event Virtual Internship & Career Fair (VICF) 2022 on Tuesday (29/11). VICF is an event organized by the Bureau of Internship and Career Center (ICC) at President University (Presuniv). This event aims to bring together students who are looking for internships or recent graduates who need jobs with companies looking for student internships or wanting to recruit new employees.

President Univ Establishes Collaboration with Halla University

Friday, (25/11), President University (Pres Univ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Halla University from South Korea in the Conference Room, Building A, Presuniv Campus at Jababeka Education Park, Cikarang, Bekasi. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Chairy, Presuniv Chancellor, with Jungki Michael MIN, Director of Center for International Exchange Affairs Halla University.

VICF 2022: H&M Provides MT Logistics Opportunities to President Univ Fresh Graduates

On Wednesday (23/11) the Bureau of Internship and Career Center (ICC), President University (Presuniv), again held Virtual Internship and Career Fair, or VICF 2022. At this event, ICC presented H&M Indonesia. "We want to recruit new Presuniv graduates to join the Logistics Management Trainee (MT) program," said Nurtria Meiradiani, Human Resources Director of H&M Indonesia. In his presentation, Nurtria explained more detail the requirements to become an MT candidate in logistics. She explained, "Candidates must undergo training in store operations, handling import and export matters, inventory, transportation, and management reports."

Vincent Piket, European Union Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, Delivers a Public Lecture at President Univ

On Wednesday (23/11), the European Union Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, Vincent Piket, gave a public lecture at Fablab, President University, in Jababeka industrial estate, Cikarang. In this session, Ambassador Picket delivered topic Disinformation and Fake News: European Union's Approach to Protecting the Civic Space in the Digital Era. This guest lecture was organized by the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) and President University Major Association of International Relations (PUMA IR). Present at the guest lecture was the Dean Faculty of Humanities, Dr. Endi Haryono, as well as other lecturers. The program began with the singing of Indonesia Raya and a moment of silence for Cianjur earthquake victims. This guest lecture session was hosted by MC Theresia Christabelle Laurens and Brittany Rumintjap, students of International Relations batch 2021, and moderated by Dr. Jeanne Francoise, lecturer in International Relations at Presuniv.

President University Distributes Aid to Cianjur Earthquake Victims

Monday (28/11), President University (Presuniv) team distributed aid to earthquake victims in the Cianjur Regency, West Java. As reported by bnpb.go.id, the impact of this M 5.6 earthquake caused 321 victims to pass away, and 11 others are still missing. As a form of concern for earthquake victims, Presuniv invited all of its academic community to participate in the funds raised. Part of the donations also came from the charity bazaar, which was held on Sunday, 16th October 2022.

Utomo Josodirdjo, Father of Indonesian Accounting and Founder of President Univ, Passed Away

Utomo Josodirdjo, Father of Indonesian Accounting, breathed his last on Monday, November 28 2022. Utomo Josodirjo's passing was a loss for President University (PresUniv). Because Utomo, together with the Chairman of the Jababeka Group SD Darmono and Prof. Juwono Sudarsono, PhD (Minister of Education and Culture (1998-1999), Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia (19990-2000 and 2004-2009)) is one of the founders of Presuniv.

Presuniv 20th Reunion: Alumni are the Backbone of the University

On Saturday (12/11), President University (Presuniv) Alumni Relations Bureau held a Throwback and Gala Dinner with the theme Re-connecting and Celebrating 20 Years of PresUniv. The event was held at Jababeka Golf & Country Club, Cikarang, and was attended by a number of Presuniv alumni from batch 2002-2006. Apart from the alumni, there was also the Presuniv founder, who is also the Chairman of the Jababeka Group, Dr. SD Darmono, the Rector of Presuniv, Prof. Dr. Chairy, and vice rectors, deans, and lecturers. Some alumni come directly from several countries, such as China and Vietnam. Ms. Elleanor Luntao, former manager on earlier years of Presuniv, was also present.
