Law Study Program, President Univ, Visits PT Elnusa Tbk.

Students of the Law Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, President University (Presuniv), visited PT Elnusa Tbk., a public company engaged in the logistics business for energy, oil and gas, Wednesday, May 10 2023. Accompanied the visit. Law Study Program Bayu Imantoro, SH, MH, and Law Study Program lecturer Dr. Ir. Robert Pangihutan Radjagoekgoek, S.Sos., SH, MH. The legal study program group was received by Tenny Elfrida, Elnusa's Human Resources & General Director, and Asmal Salam, Elnusa's Corporate Secretary.

MM Tech Study Program Undergoes Field Assessment Process from LAMEMBA

Over the two days Thursday and Friday, May 11–12, 2023, the Master of Technology Management (MM Tech) Study Program, Faculty of Business, President University (Presuniv), underwent a field assessment. This is part of the process in the framework of study program accreditation. According to regulations, since 2022 the study program accreditation process will no longer be carried out by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), but by LAMEMBA, or the Independent Accreditation Institute for Economics, Business Management, and Accounting. The two LAMEMBA assessors who carried out the field assessment were Prof. Dr Hatane Semuel, MS, from Petra Christian University, Surabaya, East Java, and Felisitas Defung, SE, MM, PhD, from Mulawarman University, Samarinda, East Kalimantan.

Faculty of Medicine, President University, Holds Thalassemia Socialization

Monday, May 8, 2023, the Faculty of Medicine, President University (PresUniv), in collaboration with the Presidential Clinic, held a socialization event on Thalassemia titled Early Screening Realizing Zero Births from Thalassemia Major. The socialization event was held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, Building A, PresUniv Campus, Jababeka Education Park, Cikarang. The speakers at the socialization event were Puspasari, Chairperson of the Bekasi Raya branch of the Indonesian Parents of Thalassemia Patients Association (POPTI), Dr Stefina Veronika, a doctor from the President Medical Center, and Anne Yasmine S.Psi, an actress and Thalassemia Girl. Besides socialization, free CBC Thalassemia screening was also conducted at the event.

On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, the Internship & Career Center (ICC) Bureau at President University (Presuniv) held an Internship and Career Briefing themed Developing Winning Personal Statement. Collaborating with the Britcham Education Centre and the University of Wolverhampton, this virtual event was intended by ICC to prepare PresUniv students before entering the internship program in September 2023. Yusuff Kaffo, Associate Director of International Recruitment from the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom, was the key speaker at this event.

Friday, May 5 2023, Innoverse Stands for Innovative Research Week (Innoverse) 2023 is back with the topic The Ultimate Way to Develop Your Thesis. Innoverse is an annual agenda managed by the President University Student Council or PUSC. Innoverse 2023, which was held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, 5th floor of Building A, Presuniv Campus, presented two speakers, namely Genta Sahuri, a lecturer in the Information System Study Program, Presuniv, and Head of Student Affairs Bureau Donald Samuel Slamet Santosa.

President Univ Holds BUiLD 2023 Conference: Discuss Roles University in Building a Disaster-Resilient Society

On Wednesday, May 10, 2023, President University (Presuniv) held an international conference ‘Building Universities in Leading Disaster (BUiLD) Resilience 2023’, with the topic of Indonesia's Disaster Resilience Strategy at the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta. At this conference, Presuniv collaborated with other universities who are also members of the BUiLD consortium, Erasmus+ from the European Union, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. The conference was attended by academics from various domestic and foreign universities, government circles, business people, communities, and the media, commonly known as pentahelix.

Prof. Slameto, Lecturer in PSTE Study Program, Becomes Professor Emeritus

Thursday, 6 April 2023, Prof. Dr. Drs. Slameto, M.Pd. who is a lecturer in the Primary School Teacher Education (PSTE) Study Program, President Univ (Presuniv), officially becomes Professor Emeritus or Professor Emeritus. This emeritus title is given to a professor who has entered retirement age, but is still asked to work by a university. The inauguration event which was held in a hybrid manner was held at the MM Tech Classroom, Building A, 4th floor, Presuniv Campus at Jababeka Education Park, Kota Jababeka, Cikarang.

On Tuesday, April 11 2023, President University (Presuniv) received a visit from the coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs (Kemenko Perekonomian) team. The team consisted of the Deputy Director/Lead Coordinator of Multilateral Cooperation in Economy, Finance and International Financial Institutions Muhammad Hadianto, Assistant Deputy for Multilateral Cooperation-Co-Sous Sherpa G20 Indonesia Ferry Ardianto, Indonesian Joint Crediting Mechanism Secretariat Danar Anindito Mu'jizat, S.H. M.Sc., Indonesian G20 Sherpa Secretariat Dita Herdiana, S.Mn., M.A.B, and several other members. The Presuniv team, consisting of the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr Endi Haryono, M.Sc., Head of the International Relations Study Program Drs, Muhammad AS Hikam, MA, PhD, Secretary of the International Relations Study Program Dr Dr Dr Jeanne Francoise, and lecturer in International Relations Presuniv Muhammad Sigit Andhi Rahman received the group.
