Cikarang, Indonesia —President University sends 16 students to participate an internship program in Taiwan held by President University in cooperation with Nanya Institute of Technology, Taiwan and Everbright in April 2017. Participants will have the opportunity to have internship in a giant electronic company, Asus, and Far Glory Group, a global company that run various sectors such construction, insurance, finance, hospitality, entertainment, and medical care.

The program is an implementation of the cooperation between President University and Nanya Institute of Technology which allows the students to get the experience of having internship not only in the domestic level, but also in international level.

Participants come from various majors and batches, which are: Kevin Rana Sidharta, Chintia Octaviana, Kezia Shella Adelia, Bella Febriana, Putri Emti Qirani, Hari Anggara, Patrisya Deka Gutawa, Amelia Carien Indahwan, Freddy Yonata, Silvia Chayadi, Anggun Dwi Astuty, Virly Vriesta Sandra Devi, Claudia Soepargo, Vina, Panji Pra, and Bella Citra Pertiwi.

To join this program, participants are required to have a certificate of competency in basic Mandarin and successfully passed an online interview session in Mandarin with the representative of the company.

“I took a Mandarin course to help me adapt with the condition in Taiwan. Besides, I did my own research to find out about the detail of the country,” said Kevin.

President University cooperated with various companies to open internship opportunity for its student to have internship in the companies. Hundreds of companies from various sectors are available for students to get working experience and develop skills by the time they graduate.

“We are working to open more opportunities like this so that the students can get the experience of working abroad and get valuable knowledge,” said Hanif Widyanto, Director of International Partnerships. (SL)
