Tuesday (2/19), Head of the 2015-2018 National Research Council of Indonesia , Dr. Ir. Bambang Setiadi, IPU became a speaker at a seminar titled "Standardization VS Innovation" which was held in President Executive Club, Cikarang. The event was organized by the President University Development Center in collaboration with the President Research Center and the President Executive Club and was attended by companies and universities located in the Jababeka Industrial Estate.
The event was opened by remarks from representative of the President Executive Club, B.A. Hadisantoso, J.B Susetiyo as Director of the President Development Center and Prof. Sony Heru Sinayo as Director of the President's Research Center.
In his presentation, Dr. Bambang stated that industry 4.0 enables the integration of the virtual world and the real world, production and services, software and hardware. There is a great potential in industry 4.0 which is to maximize the potential for digital innovation and business models which means great opportunities for both beginners and entrepreneurs.
Dr. Bambang cited the definition of innovation from Edward Roberts who said that innovation is the result of inventions and commercialization. "Business strategies must predict standardization and innovation," said Dr. Bambang.
The event continued with a discussion and question and answer session for the participants to interact and deepen their understanding of innovation and standardization. The event was closed with a group photo and a banquet.
Selasa (19/2), Ketua Dewan Riset Nasional 2015-2018, Dr. Ir. Bambang Setiadi, IPU hadir dalam acara seminar yang bertajuk “Standardization VS Innovation” di President Executive Club, Cikarang. Acara tersebut diselenggarakan oleh President University Development Center bekerja sama dengan President Research Center dan President Executive Club dan dihadiri oleh perusahaan-perusahaan dan universitas yang bertempat di Kawasan Industri Jababeka.
Acara dibuka oleh sambutan dari perwakilan President Executive Club, B.A.Hadisantoso, J.B Susetiyo selaku Direktur President Development Center, dan Prof. Sony Heru Sinayo selaku Direktur President Research Center.
Dalam paparannya, Dr. Bambang mengatakan bahwa industri 4.0 memungkinkan penggabungan antara dunia virtual dan dunia nyata, produksi dan layanan, perangkat lunak dan perangkat keras. Terdapat potensi yang besar dalam industri 4.0 yaitu dapat memaksimalkan potensi untuk inovasi digital dan model bisnis yang berarti peluang besar baik bagi pemula maupun pengusaha.
Dr. Bambang mengutip definisi inovasi dari Edward Roberts yang mengatakan bahwa inovasi adalah hasil dari invensi dan komersialisasi. “Strategi bisnis harus memperhitungkan standardisasi dan inovasi,” ungkap Dr. Bambang.
Acara dilanjutkan dengan sesi diskusi dan tanya jawab bagi para peserta yang hadir untuk berinteraksi dan memperdalam pemahaman mengenai inovasi dan standardisasi. Acara ditutup dengan foto bersama dan jamuan makan.
